  1. Gotta keep Steele at this point, shouldn’t cut Wilson either, just restructure and you can release the rest of those players you mentioned. Flournoy showed enough that losing Mingo and Tolbert wouldn’t hurt the offe as whatsoever, gotta restructure some guys which is more important and try to sign some players before the draft

  2. I wonder, is Tom a financial nfl cap space guru, or is he pointing out the obvious. Is he able to do all that what he says. Could the cowboys front office see what he sees? Do they? If not, maybe Tom should get the off-season job!

  3. Dak is going into his age 33 season. That means if you're lucky, that's 5 quality years still from him if he avoids injuries. Go all in, do it. You'll be in cap hell for a year or two after that window, but you're not guaranteed quality QB play after that window, whether it be an old Dak, a draft pick or some retread free agent. You gotta take advantage NOW. 5 shots. That's it.

  4. Well, I’m about to do some for you. I’m gonna give you something that I’ll make you pause for speculation now that tomlin step down and I know him and Jerry have major respect for each other . Don’t push it past Jarey to bring Tomlin in as an advisor to the team and if Shawty does not get the boys to be winning this season for him to turn around and fire Shawty and hired Tomlin to be the next Cowboys head coach cause you know he loves headlines with a bigger headline and then hiring Tomlin as the new head coach of the Dallas Cowboys

  5. The Cowboys have 8 picks but need immediate help at OT, DE, LB & CB. Thus, they should consider trading down with their 2nd pick of the 1st round.

With pick# 12 in the 1st they absolutely must pick the best DE pass rusher [David Bailey etc.] then entertain the best offer for pick# 20 to drop down and pick-up 2 or 3 day two picks.

    I believe 3 or 4 QB's, 1 RB, 2 LB's, 2 WR's, 1 TE, 4 OL, 1 SS, 2 CB's, DE's and a DT will be taken before their pick# 20 so there will be many teams calling them to move up.

I would drop down 5 or 6 spots for another 3rd & a 5th round pick. Then…from pick 25 or 26 of the 1st round I would make it known that I am still willing to trade down…and if a team like Houston [with two 2nd round picks] offered…I would completely trade out of the 1st round for something like a 2, 3 & a 4.

T-H-I-S is quite possible cuz there will be several QB's, LB's and WR's available in later rounds. I think this can happen cuz there are so many teams with multiple picks in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round that can trade up.

In any event, the Cowboys should move down at least once with their second 1st round pick to be able to draft something like the foregoing scenario where they'd get a #2, two #3's, a #4 and a #5.

This way they could get a pass rushing DE, a CB, two LB's and a safety in the first 4 rounds. If just 2 of them can start and 2 or 3 others be solid backups, with a competent D.C, they can contend for a championship.

    But,

They must free up cap space by restructuring contracts and possibly sign a free agent right OT and/or a veteran LB as well.

  6. Same sh*t as last year and the year before and so on, they had enough money to spend but they didn't do crap. These cap space theory videos are fun but non realistic. Neither Jerry nor Stephen are great spenders, they're both actually quite cheap, so there is absolutely no reason to believe they will this off-season. Last year they were "all in" and look what happened… Seriously stop putting high expectations on the Cowboys until at least Jerry Jones is gone, it isn't happening.

  7. Will mcclay has fixed the woke boyz wagon with all the busts he's drafted on defensive side of ball .no evaluation of talent . Has led to the defensive failures . We have now . Foryears . 🤓💯Failure at personelk director and scouting 230yearss and counting. Got extension last year for failures . Resume taco Charlton passed on the watt in a (bias) move!! He doesn't draft white draft prospects . Peyton wilson star line backer steelers passed on him for liuafal lost in coverage . Tristian Jill bust newest mazi smith . Had to give him away to jets . Randy Gregory + Sam Williams 🤪🤪nut cases busts. List goes on and on. Same old same old as ith 🤓💯ok will on board yes sir man fo Mr jerra . In his ear. On draft day picking and failing jones takes the rap for m🤓s picks. . need new blood at personnel and scouting ..23cyears of mcclay is enough good to. Go take failed scouting staff with him 💯🤓🤡

  8. With 60m+ available after resigning our main guys back, I'd like to see us go get Trey Hendrickson on a 2 year deal, Quincy Williams 2 year deal, CB Alontae Taylor 2-3 year deal, and a good safety (Kam Curl), maybe even a trade for Minkah Fitzpatrick. Then we can focus on best players available in the draft and actually be very competitive next year. We'd still need a young LB, CB, S, EDGE and OT in the draft, but filling the holes in free agency would allow us a lot more flexibility with our wants and needs picks, and trading up or back would be a lot less scary too.

  9. This year was a horrible waste. The NFC was more wide open than it been in a long time. Jerry sitting on his hands in 2024 really killed this team. Another opportunity missed.

  10. The cowboys are going to make the same mistake that real madrid made, they have all this high profile and international players on the team and have won absolutely nothing; every cowboys fan want this big name players because that's what win championship in their minds, hardly anyone knows the 49ers players yet they in the playoffs and advancing.
