  2. trading him would be a $30 million cap hit or after June 1st it's a 10 million hit. If they restructure the contract that a 22 million dollar cap savings.

  3. We will have zero pass rush if we trade Jones. I would not do it unless its a med first. Do you think we could get Derrick Brown for CJ or CJ and a pick for Jalen Carter

Is this Chris Jones' fault, or upper management's fault for not surrounding him with other players that need more than one lineman to block them? 2 lineman that require 1.5 offensive linemen, each, to block them, AND the need to double team Chris, the OL has run out of players. 1 great DL and 3 or 4 subpar DL, is a recipe for failure. Just my thoughts.

  8. I love Chris Jones, but I would trade him if they can get a pick anywhere in the top 20 for him. I definitely wouldn't trade McDuffie since he is a top corner and still young and much cheaper than Jones. We are going to have to target the best pass rusher available in round 1 and possibly at one more pick anyway. Might as well help fix the cap stuff now since it's in no way certain that Mahomes will be able to play at the beginning of the season. 2026 might be a year we have to sacrifice to reload and make another run at multiple Superbowls again. A little sacrifice now will give a much better chance for another sustained run after 2026.

  16. so i dont think chris is the problem and i dont think his age is the problem either, the problem is the chiefs d line is non existent without him, you need talent around him and the sad fact of the matter is that we've failed to draft DE the last few years, we hit on 1 or 2 of them and we're talking a completely different story, if you gameplan for only chris and george that's half of your line that you dont have to worry about

  18. Barring a big cap hit, trade EVERYONE. This defense was so ass this season, hell trade Spags too, I don't care. This season was big fever dream anyway, what is reality anymore?
