  3. Like many Jays fans I am so over the Tucker and Bo drama. Jays have made some excellent additions and are ready to compete now. I wouldn’t be surprised if they pick up Bellinger if they miss out on Tucker and Bo.

  6. I'm sure it starts with Tucker, but maybe he wants to see what Bellinger can get at the age Tucker will be if he accepts short term.

    Jays have to make their long term offer seem unachievable against the Mets offer and another FA run.

  18. Tucker lives in the offseason 30 minutes, maybe 45 from Jays Spring Training. That's good. If you think Rogers is gonna be outbid by Cohen after losing out on Soto. Jays were third, but likely they are still sour. This is how billionaire dick measuring contests go. You win one, I win one repeat as necessary. Jays aren't losing on money. Speaking of money…didn't the Jays just say 100 million dollars was their quarry from the offseason. I say spread the wealth, that 45 million contract is gonna cost how much in taxes? Its the obvious narrative on the Mets probably moving forward. Soto or Liriano? Such BS. In Toronto do you get to be the guy when things go great? No,thats probably Vladdys job. Does Tucker want to be the face of the team? Doesn't seem like it. Good, because unless you are made of Stanley Cups you aren't going to outshine Vladdy after last post-season. Does Tucker want to have kids in an environment with other fun young families? If he wants to have kids. I'm not saying he should or he shouldn't. No opinion, it's just a thing. No, I haven't been in touch with Kyle Tucker's mother. Google Kyle Tuckers Mother. Still alive, I can leave it in. I'm just saying it seems like a good support system. Does Tucker want to have to do a fashion check or have his children (if they want to) go through like a metal detector to play with another kid? I know Straw might be an attractive piece to coming to Toronto. He's like popsicles in the freezer, in the summer, when you have kids. Right now he's here. Over the course of the summer? Yeah….sure. Next spring? Hell no. I had Claire's weird "friend" eat those mother mothers at thanksgiving when I needed room in the freezer for jello. These are gluten-free, I think.

  20. Bellinger is the better option or Bo. No idea what people see in Tucker. His numbers are not great compared to Bo and bellinger. Bellinger is a playoff mvp and has experience and he is a good hitter. I would consider Tucker last out of those 3

  23. Even if Jays miss out on Bo and Tucker there are other, maybe better options.

    Brendan Donovan – Can I interest you in a 110 % lefty hitting Ernie Clement? Plays OF too. 2 years of control, trade cost realistically Nimmala to maybe Scneider, Lioerfido, King, Bonilla. Those are a little rich on the Cardinals side, but just an idea of actual cost.

    Bryson Stott – 2 years of control Higher ceiling than Donovan? Same price? 4/5/6 SP? Could Francis or Lauer cut down the prospect cost a bit? Doesn't Lukes work in Phillies OF? Garcia or Lukes? Pretty close right? Cuts down cost more?

    Ezequiel Tovar – 5 + 1 Team Option, 5/8/11/14/16 + 23.5 or 2.5 Buyout. Also around the same price. That price for a guy that you also have to fix? Swings at everything, like he is terrified of the pitcher thinking he is rude. You cut that K rate down and there is 30 homers and a good average hitter there. Not Bo, that hitter profile though. Contract runs through age 28 or 29. Should remain atleast a high end defender if not elite as he has shown more often than not.

    Otto Lopez – Here me out!!! Lopez has been a 6 WAR player the last two years. He is exactly what you wish Gimenez was. Top tier defender, league average bat, good baserunner.

    Blaze Alexander – Want to trade your weirdly productive infielder for our weirdly productive outfielder/infielder. Davis Schneider again. I think Lukes is more than fair too.

  24. Jays are better than they were last year right now! If they don't sign Tucker they can always pick up a big bat & closer at the trade deadline if necessary!
    No need to get sucked into the bs hype & make a move you could regret later 😉

  25. Here's my question. If Tuckers agent is leaking terms and numbers when it comes to the Mets and possibly the Dodgers, why haven't they leaked the Jays term and numbers ? I really don't think the Mets or Dodgers are where Tucket wants to go…
