What if I told you the 2025 Kansas City Chiefs had 3 rushes of over 20+ yards?

What if I told you only one of them came from a RB?

  1. I’m going to be pretty disappointed if they draft Love that high. But I’ll understand why.

  2. Yeah, that would add up. Hunt is slow as fuck, Pacheco couldn’t find a hole in Swiss cheese, and we barely let Smith play.

  3. I’m not at all surprised we’re the worst in the league, but I am shocked that teams with CMC and Jeanty are also in the bottom three.

  4. Our leading rusher (Kareem Hunt, 611 yards) wasn’t a top 32 RB in rushing yards this year. The Bears, Rams, Lions, and Seahawks all had their RB2 get more yards than our leading rusher. Josh Allen was also only 32 yards behind Hunt

  5. The distribution of playoff teams on this list is interesting. I would have assumed a higher correlation based on other “explosive plays” data I’ve seen.

(Not dismissing the general point that good teams have explosive runs and the Chiefs were abysmal)

  6. Also line was decent this year esp the games where Simmons was playing before he was on family leave so no excuse other than Andy hates running anyways

  7. I mean, 5 out of the top 10 didn’t make the playoffs…so??? I get it, we need to be more balanced than having tons of big runs.

  8. Completely unacceptable! Opposing defenses sat back and waited for the pass, never having to put eight men in the box. Our running game was never a threat.

  9. Add a free agent RB + Price or Singleton, problem solved. Oh, and stop this shotgun run nonsense. We can run early downs from under center, both run and pass.

  10. It’s hilarious that as soon as we draft a great qb this franchise forgets how to draft a great rb
