  1. The Raiders absolutely need to take a QB. I know you’re a big fan of coaching but look at all the of super bowl winners from the last 10 years. You can’t just get any decent QB and make them win a Super Bowl. There are outliers sure but the goal isn’t to hope we can scratch and claw for just one the goal is always to have a Mahomes/Brady type of QB get you a real shot at winning a Super Bowl every single year. Coaching is important of course but it goes both ways and you need both the QB and HC to be elite not just one or the other

  2. C'mon, Sanjit, you lost me at 1:00 The Raiders absolutely have to take a QB this year in the draft. Do you know how long it's been since the Raiders were even in a solid position to take a #1 QB in the draft? Let alone a great QB prospect like Mendoza. It would be self-destructive to pass on this opportunity. It only comes around every 10 years or so. The last time the Raiders took the strategy of trading for picks, they absolutely tanked it. Raiders and extra picks are not a good combination. Take Mendoza, build around him with the additional 9 picks, and F/A with the solid cap space we have. I am dead set against trading the 1st round pick for more picks. – It will only result in more trash years for the Raiders.

  3. Not sure if you're all the way familiar with the History of the Steelers and RAIDERS but, Mike Tomlin is definitely a RAIDERS type of guy! He is a head coach that will not tolerate soft blocking on 'O' nor poor angles and soft tackling from the 'D'. This has been a consistent theme throughout all of his teams and when the RAIDERS where in the playoffs almost every year they where the most feared team in the league which is why alot of the "player's safety" rule changes have RAIDERS written all over it. Tomlin would be a phenomenal hire if you gave him the Rams Pass-game coordinator as his 'OC' and the Falcons' Run-Game Coordinator as the assistant 'OC' (promotion) and retain Patrick Grahm. Notice how deadly that'd be drafting or paying a true WR1(star) + develope J. Bech(blue collar), and Thorton (speedster) like Trey Tucker stretching the field! We'd be able to run spread concepts(4×WRs) and 12+13 personnel concepts and all between!!!

  11. Why are folks floating so many stupid ideas at the raiders. The pick is valuable because of the player I represents. We need the QB get him. Trading down and not getting the QB don't help us at all

I always compare college kids to past pros and I can't see anyone like Mendoza until someone quoted Dan Marino, " There's no defense for the perfect pass" Now I can't stop seeing the comparisons, Mendoza does throw accurate darts, Amy not be the most athletic but guy is locked in for the win.

Only way in hell I’d trade that pick is to the heat for 5 first 1-2 2nds and Garret Wilson😂That’s the only way cause all that sounds amazing you go pick up Carr for a year then grab one of the good QBs coming out next year. I wouldn’t mind it at all that being said though it would still be tough for me to pass on Mendoza😂

  22. If we got 5 firsts and planned on taking next year for a qb I’m ok with it. But if we get another old coach and try and win next season and get a bad pick and take a qb ima be mad. I think there’s too much that has to go into it, just make sense to take qb now

  23. If we trade this pick, I will lose my sh!t!! He is our future QB and all things aligned for us to get him. Please and I mean Please draft Mendoza!!! He is a cerebral QB! Let Aiden mentor him and he can come in half way through next season. For the love all that is holy DRAFT MENDOZA!!!!!

  31. Just pick Mendoza! Picks don’t guarantee another QB. Trades require a partner and nobody is willing to trade the pick if they believe their guy is on the board.

    Dante is definitely getting bad advice. Just look at most of the QBs that were projected to go early last year. Going back to school did t really work out for them. It will cost them lots of money.

  33. Yeah, I agree with you that offense minded coaches are taken over the NFL and the Raiders should pursue Kubiak or a coach with a offensive mind especially if we draft Mendoza a coach that can grow with our young core Mendoza, Brock, Mike and Ashton 🏈

  34. dont mess around with trading this pick, just draft Mendoza already. Ask the Commanders, Patriots or Bears if they are glad they did not trade there high draft picks for the QB's they got in return.

  35. If you dont know about Ejiro you arent paying attention. Hes been getting interviews for multiple cycles. He is VERY highly respected in NFL and a former raiders db coach. SMH😂😂😂

  38. To any and all who think trading this pick for more picks will help this team. Just STFU you are idiots and retarded. No team ever has built it's team in the draft. Also if you pass on Mendoza the team team gets him will be a instant winner. If you think drafts are for anything but this moment and player you are a fool. So everyone and your trading back shit just needs to stop. We need a QB, have a total of 10 picks and 100 million to spend. We do not need anymore picks you fools. We need to just have a good draft and free agency. That and hire a competent HC. We can be competitive right away if we just get Mendoza. You never trade away this pick.

I like Mendoza Alot, he has a good head on his shoulders, a winner, a great leader and has shown his potential, i would be extremely disappointed if we skipped out on him just to maybe see what happens with more picks even with our history with high picks, how many have we wasted in the last 10 years? I lost count after 5

  43. You always overthink sh.. and want to give away players if they don't win every snap or want to trade before they have a chance to develop its so many raiders players in the playoffs and then you say give rookies 3 yrs year 1 or 2 you ready to trade em real confusing Big dog
