[Marino] Source: Mets short-term $50M AAV offer yesterday for Kyle Tucker did NOT include deferrals. It’s unclear if any offers that may have been made since have maintained the same structure.

  1. It’s kinda crazy to me that almost every detail of this Mets offer is leaking, Ross and Co gotta be smiling ear to ear knowing basically everything they wanna know about what they have to beat..

Ever since yesterday this feels like Mets being used for leverage and Tuckers agent leaking these details

  2. If I’m Tucker, I’m taking this deal if true. Let’s be honest, he can sign this and then sign a bigger contract than Bergman likely in a few years.

  3. I’m enjoying the jays numbers arnt getting leaked because the only time we see the jays numbers come out it’s usually to up the price of another team

  4. Kyle, you can go to Toronto or LA and likely get AT LEAST to the LCS, or you can be a clown in the Mets circus. Your choice buddy.

  5. Why sign short term when no one knows what the next agreement between the owners and players is going to look like?

This might be his one shot at signing long term at the money he wants especially if the owners get a hard cap.

  6. Why wouldn’t they though? NY has a high income tax and Florida has 0 as far as I know. He can make way more money with a bonus and deferrals, than without deferral

  7. Oh my fucking GOD WE GET IT THEY MADE A $50M AAV OFFER CAN YOU TELL US ANYTHING NOTEWORTHY PLEASE AND THANK YOU

  8. Why is it just the Mets offers being leaked? Like in my mind, that can’t be a good thing for them..it definitely feels like they’re being used for leverage but everyone in Mets land is so damn confident and it’s annoying

  9. really weird that Mets would offer Tucker what is apparently 3/150 or 4/200, but let Alonso leave on 5/155.

  10. It’s looking to be likely Bo goes to Phillies and Tucker goes to jays. That’s my guess.

  11. Y’all need to realize the media has nothing new.

But they still get you to click.
