Heโs not going to the Browns. Top coaches wait for the right opportunity. Look at BJ. He turned down commanders and was right to wait for the Bears.
Heโs going to the ravens lol. Why wouldnโt you choose to work with Lamar as a head coach. Especially if you know mikes back story and what he wants to do with his time in the NFL. If I was to bet for him itโs either the Ravens or the Lions with the Ravens being his first choice. Lions should keep interviewing people.
Browns and Cardinals are the last place anyone wants to be.
At least the Raiders and Titans have money to spend.
Upvote this so that Mike McDaniel sees it.
If he wants to be an OC thereโs plenty of eligible suitors with great offensive pieces; Detroit, Philly and LA. If he decides to be the HC for shadeur and friends in Cleveland thatโs on him when heโs going to be searching for a gig again in a few years.
LOL
I wouldn’t be doing that if I were him. Nobody’s been able to turn that franchise around and I don’t see him doing it. But money talks.
This is probably a super dumb question – but as someone whoโs never really given the coaching staff salary side of things much thought – whatโs stopping the Lions from throwing a bag at McDaniels that he canโt refuse? Is there a salary cap on coaching staff? Whatโs hypothetically stopping the Lions from just matching anything heโd get anywhere else or just pay him a dollar short of what they pay Campbell?
Edit: typo
MCDC should’ve just handed him this meme in person, sat there in silence for a full minute looking at him
