GET 'F-ING' REAL. The reason Tomlin has had to create magic every year is because HE HAS NOT HAD A LOSING SEASON IN 19 YEARS.
WHAT'S THIS MEAN………….NEVER IN PEACKING ORDER TO PICK A TOP 10 QB IN THE DRAFT. tHIS MAN HAD EVERY PLAYER RESPECT AND PLAY HARD FOR TOMLIN………………RAVENS ALREADY LOADED SHOULD GRAB THE CULTURE DRIVEN COACH TOMLIN.
In the NFL you can no longer play rugged defense like the past. Now its an offensive league so we need an offensive young coach.
I hope you're right. Scheelhaase is the guy I'm hoping we hire.
I hope we sign Anthony Weaver or Chris shula
Flores For HC Raheem Morris for DC and Kubiak for OC
Interesting concepts…appreciate you sharing these thoughts. I still think Steelers will go defense coach, but we shall see. I was hoping for Shula, but Scheelhaase sound very intersting.
That was a great analogy.
Too bad this didn't happen a couple of months ago. They should have tried to get Chesney from JMU
Nate Scheelhase
Chris Shula, Jesse Minter
I liked Rooneys answer. Why not want to compete even if you"re changing coaches and QBs. Why go in with a losing mindset? Have the team think positive at all times.
I find it interesting (in other words a good sign) that the first interview is with a passing game coordinator when the Steelers don’t even have that position on their coaching staff. Hopefully seeing that other teams may have good ideas on how things should be done.
DUDE😂 IF TOM HARDY AND BILL COWHER HAD A BABY..DUUDDE😂
Bill Bellicheat ? He videotaped opponents signals since he was head coach in Cleveland
Yes Nate Schaalhase the Rams offensive passing game coordinator
No not Mike McCarthy who only wins 12 games a year because of an easy schedule every year
Texans have an awesome defense
49ers brought in Christian McCaffrey
Ravens like the Patriots and the Bills are allowed to play dirty and not penalized for plays or not suspended
I call BS. Steelers aren't signaling anything, Khan said he isn't telling media shit.
Shula for head coach and rodgers or rothlisburger for offensive coordinator.
We need a defensive minded head coach with a good/great offensive coordinator Steelers were just missing some really good coordinators that is it no disrespect to the ones they had we need that physical style of football the Steelers are known for
If Steelers sign one of these fools who goes for it on fourth down due to some analytics chart, they'll continue to be losers and on the coaching change carousel. There are nine vacancies because the "modern" coach has no respect for the game, and reduces it to some computer geek's algorithm. Bring in Gruden and rock this town to the Super Bowl and a Lombardi (which should be modernized to the Brady Trophy, he literally has more Super Bow lrings than all these 'great' franchises).
Your posts are always fun,. It's an exciting time for Steelers fans.
Wish the Steelers would go offensive mind
This Scheelhause guy is a unproven commodity. McVay calls all the plays for Rams. Ok, he's the QB coach, but how do know he can call plays. I like Flores as HC and a experienced OC. Someone like McDaniels.
House 🏡
It’s gonna be a defensive guy………this is all just something to talk about!! For fun though, I would take Kubiak or Scheelhaase!
They can modernize , the games changed too much for me I'm out !Pass interference automatic first down,it should stay whatever down it is and the ball should be advanced 10 yds not at the spot of the foul!
I agree with everything you said. Been watching football since 1964. In general there is no winning without losing when you have a draft that rewards losing. The only time the steelers have really won is after they drafted high in 1969 and 1970. Joe Green and Terry Bradshaw. Then with Ben. San Francisco and the Rams have rebuilt three times since 2014. A franchise quarterback is a must and that comes from losing no one is going to let you move from the 21 pick to the top 3 pick. It would take 2 or 3 first round picks and players. I want an offensive head coach. You can get a hired gun as a DC. Its important to be able to score points. Rooney was never going to fire Tomlin and Tomlin knew it. What happened is Tomlin could not take the fans heat of yelling fire him. Tomlin knew he did not have a quarterback and the players he signed and traded for did not work out. He did the right thing. Wish him nothing but the best but I’m glad he is gone so we can move ahead win or lose. The one coach i don’t want as head coach is Brian Flores. I think the offense would be the same with him and whoever gets the job is going to be here a long time.
I feel like if you hired Chris Shula, you can get Nate with him honestly. I couldn’t see Chris not offering the job to Nate as offensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nate obviously wants to call plays
Scheelhaase needs to be the next Head Coach for the Steelers. They need fresh new ideas, they need to modernize, living in the past has done absolutely nothing for them for 15 years.
The sad part is that the Steelers didn't make the change, Tomlin resigned. We are no more innovative than the Bengals.
They’ve been out of vogue because they haven’t drafted well aside from the last 2 years
Tomlin had 15 of his 19 years with no playoff wins.
