They did beat the Celtics, the raptors and a FULLY HEALTHY 76ers team. top #3,#4, and #5 seed in the East . At that time, and nobody expected this nuggets team to be second seed in the west after Jokic went down. So give the teammates and coaching staff some credit here

They’re not the best team in the NBA when everybody’s healthy Denver is the best team in the NBA yes without Joker they couldn’t beat nobody in a seven game series. Anybody that would say that doesn’t watch basketball lol but they did beat the Celtics who were one of the hottest teams in the league which by the way is my team they beat us with basically nothing they beat Philadelphia with totally nothing so it isn’t all scrubs they’re beating but again they couldn’t win without Joker, but they’re just a little better they’re there were supporting cast is probably top three or four in the league but still not good enough to make the playoffs without Joker and you will see that in the playoffs when they roll over Oklahoma City like four games, the one or four games to two and I’m neutral. I’m a Celtics fan but I see what I see. Denver is the best team in basketball if they have everybody healthy because joker just makes them that much better. I honestly believe if no injuries at all this year that they would have the best record in the league right now they would be like 37 and five or something like that if everybody had been healthy all year long.

Skap, the point isn’t that the Nuggets have some sort of superteam. It’s that you are not being CONSISTENT. You said it yourself, Peyton Watson has been playing much better since Jokic’s injury. Jamal Murray has as well. MPJ should make the all star team this season after you called him a bum last season. Where is your “Jokic makes his teammates worse” video? LeBron got a video like that after Reaves had ONE good game without LeBron, so where is that same energy for PWat and Jamal playing elite for TEN games? Or MPJ for the whole SEASON?
My thing is Skap, Joker's team isn't as BAD as you make them out to be. Every great player needs a supporting cast that knows their roles.

Keep in mind they beat the #2,#3, #4 teams in the East, on the ROAD, during this stretch. Not bad for a Lottery team. Swallow some pride and at least give them that. Noticed immediately after Nikola got hurt that favorable comments about the Nuggets' winning were also disparaging of Jokic. "He's always had a good supporting cast" was the least offensive line.
These games have been extremely helpful for Denver to see how the role players can compete without Joker. Also, they can experiment with lineups and different plays against lower tier teams. I am grateful the team have won these games, pleasantly surprised they won as many as they have.

The supporting cast has been good enough for jokic to take them to separate game 7s the past 2 years. And in both games, Jokic choked in epic fashion. Lost a 20 point 3rd quarter lead at home. The next year he gets shut out and only takes 9 shots the entire game.
This is why I don’t buy the whole “Lejokic needs more help” BS. His teams have been more than enough to get him there. He’s just not that guy.

Where is this energy with OKC when they stream roll teams. What is Jokic has elite supporting & SGA is dragging bums to the No 1 seed in the freaking West? These OKC glazers need to stop. If we compare the supporting cast of both teams it's not even close. Without SGA this Thunder is a top 3-5 seed easily. Without Jokic we lucky if they make the play-in tournament.
