The Orioles had 5a yr/$130 million offer to Ranger Saurez before Boston. I don’t think Ranger wanted to pitch in Baltimore, and to my understanding, his agent was adamant about 7yrs.
If Elias brings in Gallon, Giolito, or Bassett, it will be a total failure getting that top Ace The O's desperately need! I don't believe O's make post with this rotation or the retreads the O's are looking at now! He should be FIRED for it!
O's should be trading for both Peralta and Gore at this point or say goodbye to getting too any playoffs.
Framber Valdez has a record of 0-2 with an ERA of 7.22 and 29 strikeouts in 6 appearances against the Yankees throughout his career. Cade Povich has a 0-2 record with an ERA of 4.58 and 14 strikeouts in 4 appearances against the New York Yankees in his career. – StatMuse. We all need to be honest. Unless Rogers and Braddish both pitch like aces this year we are 3rd place team in the division at best.
I honestly think Cease was Elias’s guy. He has been in love with his “stuff” for years.
Once Toronto blew the market away with a seven year deal I feel like Elias just doesn’t love the free agent market for starters this year.
I’m still hoping for a big trade to go down!
