Mavs’ Flagg doubtful vs. Jazz with ankle sprain

  1. Disgusting seeing teams rest players to intentionally lose. Bulls did that with Giddey last night /s

We need these 2 losses vs the Mavs. They are 1 game ahead of us. If we lose these 2 upcoming games, they’ll be 3 games ahead of us. NOLA is winning more. They are 4 games behind us, but we face them 3 times in the next few months that they can win more games than us this season. They don’t own their pick, so they don’t have incentives to lose

I think if we get these 2 Mavs losses, that leaves us with a strong possibility of having bottom 5 lottery odds to end the season. As long as Lauri continues to rest. The Mavs may be 2 or 3 games around us by the end of the season, so getting these 2 losses in the next 2 games would be helpful to make sure they are 2 wins ahead of us to finish the season

  2. We’ve screwed around and beat the Mavs twice already. We really need to split the season series with them or we are very much in danger of losing the pick. These types of games are full game swings in the tank standings

  3. hardy’s gonna start cody at the 5 and we’ll somehow win and discover cody’s perfect position

  4. I think the Jazz best case scenario is finishing with the 6th worst record, which is relatively safe. But there’s a real possibility they can’t out-tank the Mavs and/or the Hornets and fall to 7th or 8th. We pretty much MUST do whatever we can to throw games against those teams. I wish the front office had woken up to that reality before the season was half over, but at least they’re doing it now.
