If you move out of the #1 spot this year, you need to plan on putting together a package next year to get the #1 spot to get Arch Manning. If Arch was coming out this year, he would be hands down the #1 pick. If you paid attention, his family has said from the start that he would not leave college without 2 years of starting experience.

19. Guys, a great QB changes your entire team. Those other players you can get in that range quite often get outplayed by guys who get picked in the 2-5th round. You are much more likely to find another Maxx Crosby late rounds than you are a Tom Brady. Draft Mendoza!

27. It IS a bad QB draft, there's only ONE QB that anybody is talking about and agreeing is a 1st rounder and 1st overall worthy. We can get the most important position set, and have our 3 Offensive building blocks in Mendoza, Jeanty and Bowers in back to back to back drafts. Offensive line can get fixed in the draft and free agency, and the line might not have actually been that bad anyways considering what we heard about the Nepo coach

36. Sorry as soon as you said he wanted Moore over Mendoza he lost all credibility. Mendoza is a once in a generation player that transcends just raw talent. He will immediately make the team he is on a contender. After 53 years of football I can say not drafting Mendoza would be the Raiders biggest mistake ever. Those who think trading back for more picks do not understand a team is not built in the draft alone. No winning team built itself of the draft. We already have the 1st pick and have 10 total picks this draft. That with 100 million to spend means we can have a complete turn around this next season. It all hinges on who we get as HC. Sorry but stop with the Harbaugh and Tomlin BS. Neither are a fit for what Brady and Spytek have building here. Hopefully we get an offensive minded HC who can help Mendoza, and Smith look good. Yeah I am saying Geno would make a decent mentor for Mendoza. We do not need to sign another QB. We do need a couple OGs, DTs, LBs, and DBs/Safeties. Our offense could be great with a couple of pieces in the right positions. Again stop thinking it will take multiple drafts to build a winning team. If we have a great QB with the talent we have and potential talent waiting to emerge we will be unstoppable. Build the OL in free agency and draft as well as our defense needs. Done correctly and paired with a good HC look out AFC west we're back. Now back to Moore. Sorry but he will never be a great QB. Talented? Yes. But it is all about him, not the team. He is only going back because he was advised too. He lacks starts and playing time. He would be a project no matter where he went. As for Mendoza he has all the skills, is smart already graduated, is a football geek, he is a born leader, and can rally a team around him, started at the bottom and worked his way to the top. Dude he was made to be our QB. Don't screw this up Raider Nation.

38. Here's the problem with making that deal for three first round picks. If you think you're going to move anywhere next year in that draft with all those QB's coming out and their talent, you're f**** dead wrong. It's going to cost you an arm and a leg, probably two picks to move up one slot if you're down at number 10.

    Look at it this way with all those QB's in next years draft, there's going to be a bunch of good talent that slides down the board on defensive side and offensive side.

47. Mendoza is a no-brainer & he will 100% be picked. Would like to see Lafleur as HC & Mike Shanahan (OC at Indiana) as our OC. Shanahan and Mendoza are tied at the hip & their pairing should translate well in the NFL. Re: the draft, just need one or two of Dunker, Pregnon & Rutledge to beef up run blocking & pass protection on the interior. Fix the rest of the Oline with the promising young talent you have (i.e. Tasi will be in beast mode on the interior with good coaching) & through free agency. Old vets (not named Kolton) need to go!
