  2. These haters are just trolls that act out of jealousy and antagonize fans online as a way to cope with their own feelings of being worthless. People with bunch of insecurities who want control and find pleasure from others' distress. Anyone in their right mind know how important Nikola Jokic is to the nuggets and with how the rest of the team has stepped up this season is definitely a good news for Denver fans.

  5. ESPN’s coverage last night was criminal, they kept hammering “Jokic out” stats without mentioning that 4-6 other starters were missing at the same time. Were Jamal Murray, Gordon, Cam, Braun, THJ, and Val all holding back Pwat, Pickett, Nnaji, and Daron Holmes? Well yes but not because the former are bad players, it’s because the latter never played (or had much reduced roles)! You don’t get Pickett becoming Kon Knueppel without the Malone-legacy rotations getting decimated by injury!

Wish those Jokic haters are understand how strong the Nuggets players are. This speaks to how good of a supporting cast they have.

  9. 22-10 this year with Jokic (68%).
    6-3 without him (67%).

    Wins with Jokic were WITHOUT most of the starters.
    Wins without Jokic were with some of the starters.

    Wins without Jokic REQUIRED better play and more shots from the other players which they got with more playing time. They are developing and will be MONSTERS by playoff time when everyone is (hopefully) healthy and in full gear.

    But no thinking person thinks the team is better without Jokic. They never have been and they still aren't.

  14. Obviously, Jokic's shot attempt have been spread out to other players. I would like to see the FG% with and without Jokic on the floor. With such a great on-off stat, we can already guess how those numbers trend. Regardless, the bench has been tasked with keeping the Nugs afloat, and it has risen to the challenge.

  16. 2:03To put it into perspective how dumb a take that is, is that this season before Jokic got hurt, the Nuggets were on pace to have best offense IN THE HISTORY OF THEY NBA.

  22. What none of these box score watchers understand is that the best player sets the tone and attitude for the whole team.

    These are the same guys that will glaze embiid when all he does is throw his teammates under the bus and show up late to practice.

    Jokic leads by example practicing hard and with a team first attitude.

    Personally I'm not too surprised with the nuggets success without him as everyone on that team works hard which is such a rarity in the league these days.

  23. Just think about how many occasions where Jokic threw a spectacular pass and the receiving teammate blow a layup (looking at you Bruce Brown) or botch a WIDE open shot. They'd have at least 5-6 more wins, it was the same problems. The guys weren't making shots, now that they're running smoothly and well oiled, when Jokic comes back, look out Denver, they'll be a juggernaut

  28. Answer is simple…of they where at they points per game now without Jokic Denver would loose by 30 plus margins cause Jokic per game is 29 per game…they need to score more points to win games that is natural and basic math

  30. Jamal was putting up better numbers from the start of the season.
    Some of the other players mentioned with better stats didnt play most games. They are playing because Denver at some point missed 7 players. Ofcourse they improved their stats.

    Pwat always came off the bench and is playing as starter since Gordon got injured. He has shown huge improvenent that nobody couldve expected.

    I think best reason for the bench playing better is the coach.

  32. F Jokic haters. Nuggets Nation is ecstatic to see them winning without the big fella bcs last year the Nuggets lost to the Wizards twice when Jokic was out. We added important pieces (Hardaway Jr. Tim Valentunis, Cam Johnson) while PWAT is A REVELATION, and we have realized that Zeke Nadji and Picket are actual NBA players. Good ones too. Thanks.
