People forget about guys like Joey Loperfido. Give him a shot. Athletic looking kid who was highly ranked in the astros system. I liked watching him last season before he got nailed and injured.
Not to disappointed, price was to high for Jays needs. Wish Bo well but our team got better, pitching improved, Santander healthy will be better, Barger proving himself, Clement OB machine…think we will still make a run at it.
Still need a Closer. Would also like Bellinger, so Yankees don't get.

With these crazy signings you should not wait to January to sign players , sign them in December if you can don't wait it will cost more.

And there goes a really good start of an off season, to a mediocre off season. They never got the closer which they needed , they lost bichette. Ernie will regress and we better get an impact bat . I also think we need another good starter
I'm not sad about it. The Jays are going to be at the top of the American League and have a real good chance at making the World Series
They need to pivot . They should try to take a run wt Valdez . He’s an ace . That would immediately put us a top 5 starting rotation. Then, we can make a trade for a closer. Then, if we do need an impact bat at deadline we can do. Good news is out prospects are decent and we have a decent farm team . We also have players like Luke’s , loperfido , Schnieder , straw .

Go get another pitcher like Bassit. Barger-Santander is more than ok to replace Bo's bat. Infield is great. Outfield is good too. Pitching is next level. We might want to steal some more bases though in critical situations.

Tucker going to the Dodgers is perfect unlike Toronto and the Mets Tucker won't be the main man….esp with Betts, Shohei, Yamamoto, and Feddie…..For Toronto and The Mets he would be in the Lime Light
This team is just not good enough to win it all this year. Say what you say about our offseason pitching wise, yes it was good but players like Lukes, Giminez and even Varsho are 3 below average hitters. Unless we pull off a magical trade, we will be lucky to win the AL and certainly not the Chip.
I feel lucky we have keegan in our corner. Just like Buck Martinez, the Jays’ aura goes beyond the men on the field. ❤
We should explore other available options from the NPB league in Japan rather than the MLB with corruption and instant gratification running rampant amongst players and executives at its very core. Japanese players are certainly willing to do the heavylifting for a reasonable salary figure. Shame on the corruption that exist in every sport in the western world.
