  1. Not having a salary cap is bad for the teams that can't keep up, and its bad for the teams like the padres who try to keep up and end up screwing the pooch by giving out horrible contracts and trading away all their prospects.

  2. This is one of the better takes, no crying, no screaming, no bashing just honest opinion. A true fan making his voice heard. I grew up seeing the Dodgers lose 99 games in 1992, never did I imagine what's happening right now. I saw the 90s Yankees, they were a great team but nothing like the Dodgers. So I do know how you feel, and it sucks. All I can say is just keep your head up and keep supporting your team.

  3. Another thing most fans don't take into account when the Dodgers ownership we're thought to be crazy for paying two billion dollars for the Dodgers in 2012 They are now worth 7.25 billion dollars And they have an astronomical television revenue guaranteed they know what they're doing They were willing to take all the risk and I think it is paid off for them big time And with all that said the Dodgers have 1/2 a billion dollars into the competitive balance tax I think what we have here is a lot of other teams have very greedy owners

  4. I'm pretty sure the first thing everyone thought when Kyle Tucker signed was.,,,, oh I wonder what Padres fans think??!'n get out of here dude! No one cares!

  5. I would be pissed too. Padres are in a weird spot because they did try to spend and put together a winner. Shows that money doesnt solve everything. You gotta have the right guys at the right time. I think you nailed it by saying they invested in the right guys. They built a culture there. Hope padres and dodgers have some great games next season. Love the padres making shit interesting the last 5 years. Went to petco as a dodger fan and everyone I talked to were cool as shit and realize its just a game and we are blessed to be in this era of baseball. People wishing for a lockout doesnt truly love the sport.

  6. Dodgers fan here who lives in San Diego due to Kobe and La sports, you seem like a chill guy who loves his team but who’s very self aware and respectful. Made me change my mind on Padres fans not all are emotional whiners 🫡🫡 I get it tho, it won’t last forever tho lol Padres are still in the hunt

  7. I hope is dodger fans can just be humble. And respectful. Let the play and the rings talk. I like this podcast and enjoy seeing the pov from different fan bases. Hit that like button dodger fans

  8. Only draft pick will balance out small market teams in the long run…..Power house teams whoever’s spend over 250M will lost 1st round pick…….300M will lost 2 round pick……350M will lost 3rd round pick. How do you aspect small market teams to draw a lot of attendance.

  9. As a fan of baseball and Dodgers appreciate your perspective. A floor is necessary for all. Greedy owners are probably more consumed with sicking up revenue sharing

  10. The Dodgers underperformed in '25, extremely underperformed, and still won the Fall Classic by putting on one of the greatest World Series in the history of the game.

You want to play big, you have to pay big.

  11. No pain here. I could care less about what the Dodgers do. Padres and everyone just needs to worry about their own teams. This is just going to continue year after and the games are going to be played.
