If Lindy Ruff pulls off a win or nomination does he get another shot? Jarmo giving him a new contract or goes in new coaching direction anyway (he must have a list of coaches and assistants in mind). Hard decisions are better than easy ones, I guess.

If the Sabres make the playoffs I imagine he gets it
If Ruff doesn’t get it for a playoff birth then what is the point?
If the team keeps going the way they’ve been going I’m down with giving Lindy another season.
I think you mean Samuelsson for the Norris, right?
Jack Adams goes either to a coach of a team that massively beats expectations or that is simply super dominant. Right now it’s probably Bednar in front. Cooper is probably 2nd especially given the injuries they’ve been able to overcome. If the Sabres make the playoffs, that third spot is probably going to Ruff.
Don’t want to point out the obvious but !
Won the Jack Adams
Been a finalist
Coached 1900 plus games in the NHL
You don’t stick around that long and not have what it takes to find your way out of rough situations.
Lindy is a PLAYERS COACH!
He played 691 games as a player.
A players coach is the best coach for young players. He understands their struggles. He has realistic expectations. He has been in their skates !
Glad we have stuck with him. I don’t think any head coach would want it more or fight harder
Itd be a beautiful end to Lindys coaching career if he breaks the drought and gets the Jack Adams. Guys a buffalo legend forever
If Sabres make the playoffs, and the players are into it, im sure he comes back another year. Team success, plus on the personal side for Lindy, I am pretty sure I heard on the radio that he’s coached around 1,910 games. Meaning with what’s left of this season and then next, Lindy could also hit 2K
If they are in a playoff spot come April or May, it’ll be hard not to consider him for it.
Just make the playoffs.
I’m down to keep ruff for at least another season then let him peacefully transition into a front office position for a soft-retirement.
Stop it I cried enough yesterday dude
Doan for Selke.
