Bickley is an idiot, and no they won’t. Mendoza isn’t THAT good. Next year’s draft is way better. I would t be surprised if we trade for a vet though. Depends on the coach.
I think it would take more than Kyler, Marv, 3, and some late round picks to get the 1st from the raiders.

He once did a “blast” where he thought Clayton Tune was the QB of the future and Kyler should watch out. Yeah; he’s dumb. His entire shtick is to tap into the prevailing emotional opinion of fans and just yell it louder.
I think we have too many holes to make a trade up for the 1 starting caliber first round QB in this draft. Idk maybe we take a flyer on a guy in later rounds, but shouldn’t trade the farm.
If anything they should trade down to stock up draft capital for next year to get a qb. I’d like to see us pick a veteran up in trade or feee agency that would be easy to move off of
No chance in hell we trade up to 1 in a 1 qb draft where the top pick needs a qb more than us. Only way that would be worth it is if the raiders would take pick 3 and Kyler and maybe a 2 or 3 rounder
Team can’t succeed with Kyler at QB but people think we will somehow be better with a rookie QB from the worst QB draft class in recent memory? Ok.

I’d just like to point out that nobody thought Drake Maye, Josh Allen, Bo Nix or Lamar Jackson were starting QBs at this point in their draft years. There’s a lot of information to go through that simplified college game plans and ESPN highlight reels haven’t given the average fan. All those guys have turned out alright if you ask me. How did Murray, Winston, Newton, Bradford, Russell, Carr or Couch turn out. Gimme a trade down, pick up an extra couple picks and the BPA.
Lmao. I opened this thinking it would be some outlandish trade five first round picks to move to number one. Instead it was literally just a deal, The Raiders would laugh at so hard as they hang up the phone. They are not trading number one for Kyler, the bust, and the third pick.

I read the article and thought it was pretty good actually and yes I would do whatever it takes to get Mendoza or else it’s probably another tank season in 26.

If the raiders would take #3, Murray and Marv…. AND we think Mendoza is our guy (better than anything we see ourselves getting in the next couple of years of draft/fa)…then yes you make the deal.
We can’t afford to gut the entire draft this year or next including an bunch of picks. We have too many other holes to fill to at least give Mendoza a chance.
You would have to look at it as a positive for us to get off Kylers contract. Yes trading Marv would hurt…but a QB trumps a WR every time and we can replace his production so far…we can’t keep thinking what if.
Now…all that said, no way the Raiders take that deal

It could def work out for us but the question is why would Oakland want Murray and/or MHJ? I’d argue MHJ is the most valuable asset in the trade they’d get back but what has he shown on film that would suggest him and Murray are worth giving up a potential franchise QB?
Buckley has always been an idiot.
It’s worth trading away significant draft capital if you’re a QB away from competing. Cards are not a QB away, but a better QB would help. Roll with Jacoby next year and keep building the roster.
