  1. He wants to be a head coach. I can see him taking a DC coaching job for a sorry teaming knowing he may have a possibility of being that teams HC the next season

  2. I think it's a smart move on his part to show the VIkings front office that, even if he doesn't get a HC hire, other teams are interested in him as their DC. This would then hopefully give him some leverage for a better contract. And I don't blame him; it's all about business in this league and he knows his defense is the only reason the Vikings finished above .500 this year.

  3. KOC has done nothing to prove he is a good coach. The vikings remain a mid team.

His first year, 13 wins every one was a 1 score down to the wire game.

Then he had a 7 win season. Then he got saved by Sam Darnold.

Then this year he got saved by Flores.

  4. I think the DC job interview is to just see what’s out there I think. What I’m concerned about is the Steelers HC job tho…I can definitely see him leaving for that. As for the Ravens, I don’t see the owner hiring him TBH.

  5. The incompetence of this teams never ceases to amaze me. This is all classic failure from the Vikings organization from top to bottom. I’ve been a fan of this team for 40+ years and every fuckin year they piss me off more and more. Ugggggh……Just do what you do Wilfs. Nothings ever worked and this year won’t be any different.

  6. Keep Flores whatever it takes! If they let him leave it just proves that the organization does not care about winning, it's only about making money on the backs of their fans. I've been a fan since 1961, but my patience is running thin with this team.

  7. I just don’t understand the Vikings and probably never will. He needs to be the dam Head Coach. KOC loves to hear himself talk. And that is always a sign that this person is hard to get along with and always has to level up on you. My guess is B Flo has had it with the mistakes and bad play calling on O. He probably would stay if the other side of the ball was better. This team has major problems. That’s why he’s bouncing

  8. Im convinced that we’re going to see a nuclear meltdown down next year. And I wonder if Flo can see it too. The wilfs need to do something that tells me they actually care about anything

  9. For the last several weeks of the season, or maybe even the last couple months, the radio silence and question avoidance every time the topic of Flo's contract situation struck me as severely odd. The only logical conclusion to draw is dude wants to be somewhere else, doesn't matter if as HC or not.
My personal theory is he doesn't have faith in JJ at QB and his on field captain who ran his defense, Smith, is probably done and the replacement possibilities didn't thrill him. Remember, the Vikings defense was kind of mediocre at the beginning of the season, when Smith was out. Time to bounce. If it was just about money, they Wilf's would have already locked him down.

  10. Yeah, this feels out of place to some degree. But Flores has hit his apex with this D and has a pretty good idea whether he could squeeze more out of it (or not). Also, his efforts YoY, while impressive, don't mean much if the QB drags the team down. I wonder if he looks at the offensive strategy and sometimes says "WTF" more often than he should. He probably told Harrison at some point, "If you go, I go". Lastly, while uprooting would be a chore, a new challenge might just be enough to invigorate his love for the game. Also, visions of Jayden Daniels making life a little easier on his D…

  11. If there is a cancer in the Vikings hierarchy that doesn't like Brian Flores, fire them. They have nothing to do with wins on the field. Flores definitely does, he one of the absolutely best coaches in all of the NFL. He has more to do with wins than O'Connell and we need to hire him as the head coach, He's already in the house. DON'T LET HIM LEAVE. Period.

  12. The Vikings are the biggest loser franchise in professional sports. Four super bowls and five NFC championship games with no wins. Also, don't forget the Hershel Walker debacle. And most recently the Sam darnold trade by the dei hire from Ghana. I am pulling hard for the Seahawks and Sam just to cement the total loser reputation of the pathetic Vikings. Oh and your politicians are as incompetent as kwesi.

  13. Every year ends without a Super Bowl win! Getting close or failing to make the playoffs is all the same…. Usually the team is competitive…. But never great , especially in the playoffs! 53 years of waiting and the Vikings are further away since the 70’s !

  14. Washington was in the NFC championship game in 2024. They also have a quarterback that definitely has Super Bowl winning potential (if he can stay healthy). B-Flo came from New England and is probably itching to quickly put more Super Bowl rings on his fingers. Maybe he’s totally out on McCarthy.
