  1. o line sucked, he got the yips, lost all his confidence and also generally regressed. but you could tell he lost all his swagger and mojo

  2. 1: Chip Kelly’s offense didn’t utilize his arm in play action
2: We lacked a big body receiver he felt comfortable throwing the ball up to once Bowers got hurt
3: Our O-line sucked so much he couldn’t get into a rhythm to feel comfortable making those throws
All of these combined with the fact that we had no run game caused him to dredge up old habits which killed our offense.

  3. It’s hard to be overcome bad offensive infrastructure. Having some talent at skill positions doesn’t outweigh poor coaching and roster deficiencies.

  4. As a Seahawks fan, I was sad we lost Geno cuz I knew he could ball tf out but sometimes made some boneheaded plays. I’m so sorry for how everything turned out, I legit could not believe the regression. Hopefully you guys get Mendoza and beef up the O line!

  5. I will always always always say that Geno was not even close to top 10 things wrong with this team this season. He was set up to fail with a horrbme coaching staff leading to a horribly constructed and ran team. He did enter a regression year (I believe) so he was still a problem but not nearly as much as the people in this sub would make you believe with their hate

  6. Bad coaching, bad play calling, bad O Line, not having Metcalf and JSN.

It was one of the most severe regressions anyone has ever seen IMO

  7. It can’t be him. Look at all the qbs since Carr. They all had sh*tty numbers. I blame it on the o line and lack of receivers. Hard to throw when you are constantly running for your life and no one’s open.

  8. Seattle has great coaching. Something the raiders do not have at all. His signing was the Raiders saying “oh god I hope he can keep up that pace here”

  9. They could run the ball so they couldn’t stack the box. They could also functionally block so they couldn’t stack get a pass off. They won a couple so Geno had confidence and didn’t pout half the game on the sideline after playing like dog shit.

  10. His offensive coordinator was bad and was fired and then he got a below average OC and playcaller for the rest of the season. On top of that, he was sabotaged by Pete Carroll’s son with the worst OL of the league.

  11. Geno is a damn good QB. Bring on the downvotes. He got his ass kicked early and often this past season. The o-line wasn’t getting coached properly (if much at all). Many stories out there now about how Geno, Jeanty, and the o-line had to have meetings to try and iron out the details because they weren’t getting it in the meeting room from the coaching. Spytek was having film sessions with Jeanty. Anyone thinking any other QB is doing any better in that situation is kidding themselves.

  12. Age, coaching, OL, WRs, attitude
    In that order

Add in there that he’s just not very good imo. You can find good highlights for bad QBs

  13. This is a team that made Randy Moss in his prime give up and then go on to have an insane season with the Patriots.

  14. He joined the Raiders, where NFL careers go to die. I’ve been waiting since 2003 for these assholes to get their shit together. I was 21 living in SD during that Superbowl, I’m closing in on retirement in a handful of years at 50 and the Raiders haven’t done shit since.

  15. He lost a step and velocity. Even minuscule changes can make huge difference in NFL. Plus our OC and OL was shit
