[Mike Swanson] With Mike Tomlin calling it a career in Pittsburgh, I have to tell this story from 2015. @TheRealHos305, @drewbutera, @SalvadorPerez15 and Mike Moustakas can all confirm it.

  1. As critical of Tomlin as many Steelers fans were, a lot of them agree that he was a player’s coach. He could make those players run through a wall for him.

  2. I like Mike Tomlin. The fact he kept a locker room with Big Ben, Leveon Bell, and Mr Bountiful Concussions from exploding is a Herculean task.

  3. The part I enjoyed most was remembering when the Royals had those two magic seasons. Glad to have that.

  4. If Tomlin takes another HC job, it should be more as a Dan Campbell type: let his DC take over that side of the ball, set the culture, and manage the game.

  5. That should’ve been the first win of the Chiefs 10 game win streak if my memory serves me correctly

Sadly I was at the game the week before in Minnesota

  6. The Steelers fans should have been more supportive. They’re going to be hating life next year when the team is 3-10, Watt is injured, and the team doesn’t have an offense and can’t win. So many times in Tomlin’s career, his team should have lost, but they didn’t.

  7. This is, no joke, the first time I’ve ever heard of a tunnel connecting the two stadiums.

  8. Man I was at that game remember them announcing all the royals players like it was yesterday. Little did we know the run of championships Kansas City would go on from there. Spoiled and thankful.
