1. Again who knows if Vladdy will have another mvp year ? I think he will always be really good (20-30 hr, around .300 hitter 80-90 RBIs can hit 100 sometimes but not as elite as the judges and ohtani. But he’s right there .

3. This is what should happen now we have come to this point, we need to pivot . Question is will they? They should sign Valdez , he’s an ace or good 2nd at least. He would instantly put us top 5 in league in starting pitching. Then, you try to make a trade probably in season with maybe a Luke’s , Schnieder a high end prospect for a closer ? Something like that . Then, depending on what we need at deadline , take a run at Marte or look for an impact bat. Will they do this? Tbh Atkins scares me. 1 year ago everyone wanted him gone, now he’s a hero cuz we went too World Series ?

16. We have a lot of guys who can hit 30 HR with enough at bats: Varsho, Vladdy (easy), Santander (easy), Barger, Moto, Springer, not too worried about offense.

20. By the time the season starts Bo will be forgotten in TO. There are always sellers and buyers during the season so there is always a chance to pick up needed pieces later.

Springer is on a final contract year with popkins still the hitting coach dam right he’s going to have a good year, with the money being thrown around , I’ll bet he’s going to have a great year and the jays are up and coming with barger, clement, okamoto and Vladdy will be in the mvp convo and varsho in a contract year so I don’t see why the jays can’t be better than last year and the pitching is the best in the league

29. I feel like people are forgetting we have David Popkins. All this talk of regression when last season he improved virtually the same team that had 74 wins to a world series contending team…

30. The Jays need more than they have to win a World Series. If they got Kazuma Okamoto and Cody Bellinger instead of Bo Bichette, that might be acceptable.

    They still need to trade for/sign 1 lights out bullpen arm. Preferably a left hander…unless it's the fireballer from San Diego.

    The starting rotation…I don't think they need to touch right now. Hopefully Ricky Tiedemann will not get injured again, have a great recovery and be up knocking on the Jays door before long. That would be great to have a couple starters in the bullpen.

    I mean…they are close. They proved they good go toe to toe with L.A. last year, and beat them in a lot of aspects…but the Jays still need to do some work before the season begins, and maybe pull off some trades before the end of the season…to exemplify their schematic.

33. This is the reality of business. Bo isn’t disloyal for taking the money, just like Vladdy isn’t loyal for staying. Jr was given 500-million reasons to stay.
