I think you learned your lesson with Ty Simpson. I kept saying yesterday that the Jets like Ty and they're talking about taking him at the top of the 2nd. Next mock draft you'll have to trade up and get back in the end of Round 1 to get Simpson. Stop the draft if he makes it to pick 29-30 and we can offer pick 34 & something else to get pick 32. I've already done about 35 mock drafts and the Jets take Ty with the 1st pick of round 2 in 75% of the mock drafts. If all else fails, we can try to get Chambliss at the top of round 3. I stopped the video at pick 34, now back to the mock draft. 🏈🏆

This is realistically one of the worst blue chip drafts we have seen in a long time. Most people have the 2 best players in the draft at Downs and Love both positions you dont like to draft in the top 10 let alone top 5. Arvell will go at 2. Fano is guard sized and not good enough to be picked top 3. We wont draft Tate or Tyson. Bailey just doesn't have the tools to be a premiere pass rusher. Which really only Leaves Bain and Mauigoa. I love both but if you look at premiere pass rush talent the last 10 drafts i think Bain as a prospect is behind A Carter, J Pierce, W Anderson, T Walker, A Hutchinson, C Young N Bosa, B Chubb, M Garrett, J Bosa. He would be the #1 edge in 2 of the last 10 drafts and that's truly the guy you want? Trade back take BPA if its Mauigoa awesome if you pick Downs at 6-9 awesome not a need but then you have your entire secondary aside from Budda on rookie deals. The front 7 needs work but this is a depth draft class very few stars. And if anyone even remotely thinks styles anywhere near 3 is a good idea please learn positional value
Take the best OT available or the pass rusher from Miami. This organization cannot take another tweener multi-positional player that doesn’t excel anywhere.
Take RB Love he’s one of only 2 elite players in that top 8..he’s an impact player day one …and makes our offense elite ..love ,McBride,Wilson ,MHJ and in the 2nd I’m drafting my Qb ..I’ll use my cap to rebuild my guard positions..draft a Rt in 3rd round ..

Imho take Love in rnd 1after after trade down get your Right tackle with the round 2 then Get NUSSMEIR with a trade back up in 2 or in round 3 remember our leading rusher didnt even get 500 yards or score 6 touchdowns

Ty Simpson is a mistake, not enough reps at the college level, he's a major project. Double and triple down on the trenches this draft. Get what you can for Kyler in a trade. Trade Budda to a team in the hunt for a super bowl. Role with Jacoby in 2026 and look to get a top 3 pick next year for the plethora of top tier QB talent in 2027.
Idea is to build up the team first, then plug in a young QB. The other way around is much tougher, especially with projects like Simpson and Chambliss (although I'm a big fan of Chambliss, just need more time)
