  5. Mets got players that can be better this year, just got to get the Trust & support! The same goes for the Minor Leaguers, they got to be trusted & given a chance!!! LGM’S ! Act with confidence & savviness and you’ll get the job done! Got to Believe ! ! !

  6. of course Gelbs says this is a better move than Tucker,,He's on the payroll and was told to go GAGA and act like this is some tremendous move..Gelbs will never criticize any Met move

  7. The comparison with Pete and Kyle makes no sense. The name of the game is scoring runs. Tucker’s RBI for 162 games is 103. Pete’s is 114. Controlling the zone is great but you have to drive in the runs.

  9. We need to add Bellinger or Suarez to improve our offense from last season. With these recent moves we break even I feel in terms of our offensive production. For instance, the 3 guys we have in place (Polanco, Siemen, and Bichette) have the same amount of home runs as the guys we lost in (McNeil, Alonso, and Nimmo) keep that in mind! We improved batting average and other offensive categories (besides home runs) with these guys versus the other 3 and our defense has gotten better!! We also need to trade for Schubal or Peralta or sign Valdez opt outs and everything!

  10. What’s really is puzzling & kind of strange is with all these changes & activities with the Mets, there’s no words from the Manager? Where is Carlos Mendoza? He had nothing to say about the so called club house rumblings & the Loss of some of his main guys? You mean to tell me, Carlos Mendoza is not moved ? Is he so secured with job that he is not affected? Just a thought! 💭 He has lost a lot of important pieces and he’s ok 👌🏾 with replacements? Not the way I remember Baseball ⚾️ management ? I have been a long time loyal Fan for over 5 decades & counting for Mets 3rd 🥉 Championship rings ! I know is baseball ⚾️ but not entertaining ! LGM’S ! ! !

  11. What? How does this make sense? Beatty has proven to be a good player. This is a move makes no sense. They are in a rebuilding process and now are not committed to that either?!? What is going on?

  15. what are your thoughts on how good quality players can rub off of other not so good players? I think these moves can have a much greater impact especially if they’re good clubhouse guys.

  16. These guys just worship the moneyball philosophy it doesn’t make any sense I don’t see how winning 83 games and never winning a championship can be considered a success it is a delusion

  17. Happy that Tucker went elsewhere. I question Tucker as a positive team player. Question still remains why the Astros did not offer a long-term deal to him and why the Cubs gave up what they did and not try to retain him. The Mets lost out on Tucker, but losing might have actually been winning.

  26. What a bunh of homers, with them trying to rationalize getting another out of position infielder for thsi year. They need to sign bellinger immediately. If they get him, I'll be on board with this offseason.

  28. This is the Pete Alonzo contract all over again. Why are they giving him an option to opt out after every year so technically it's a one-year contract. This GM has no idea what he is doing when you're paying someone $126 million over 3 years that's the contract
