3. For the run game to truly be a part of the Showtime, the Offensive Line has to be more effective at run blocking specifically moving to the next level. If they are able to get or start that second level block that’s usually about the 5 yard mark, the RB with a full head of steam would be very effective.

4. thats one opinion another is mahomes overthrows everyone. another is andy isnt a good play caller anymore. all his plays are gimmick or mid range passes. there is never high low routes and the o line is god awful. very little to do with the running game.

12. It’s not a lot on the offensive u just got to have a running back tht can make the defense b honest and tht can hit a home run once he touch the ball and the chiefs lack tht. The o-line is great. My biggest concern is tht the d-line is not getting to the quarterback. So I would have to draft a RUBEN AND N IF THEy DNT GET A RB IN FREE AGENCY IM TRADING MCDUFFIE TO THE SAINTS TO DRAFT LOVE/ Safety S.Downs. Downs will definitely b my next pick with tht pick for mcduffie n turn around n grab a running back in the 2nd round

13. lets get real folks, its gonna take a few years to rebuild and get rid of high dollar old player contracts + overcome Mahomes huge contract coming up. I say gonna take 3 – 5 years and hopefully before mahomes retires they have another superbowl run in them.

21. I looked up how the chiefs players stacked up to the rest of the league.
    Best reciever was Kelce 27th with 851 yrds. Best RB was Hunt, 33rd with 611 yds . Pacheco 50th with 462 yds. No chance of breaking a long one.
    Basically no playmakers on this team .
    Two guys in the top 50 wont compete with teams with weapons in the top 10 ?

23. I said something along these lines when the Chiefs hired Andy. Remember, KC was really more of an NFC-style team with bruising running backs than an AFC-style team with a wide-open passing game.

    Reid, with Michael Westbrook in Philly ran the ball only 20% of the time. I thought it was a curious hire, but after the "sludge in the bottom of the oil pan" coaching carousel KC was mired in, it worked out for the better.

    The last few seasons, I've been thinking we need a road grader offensive line. I remember when KC's linemen were household names. Roaf, Shields, Gruenhardt, Waters, Szott, not to mention Alt and Tait. On the other side of the trenches, Saleamua, Thomas, and Smith.

    The trenches are where games are won. It's not sexy.

    You're not going to put Mahomes under center and run a play-action offense. But defenses are adjusting to "long handoff" play calling, too.

    KC's running backs would be better with a run-blocking line. Tackles would be under less pressure if the edges weren't teeing off every play with an 80% "guess" rate.

    Balance and trenches are what KC needs to adapt to how teams play them now.

25. Is it a QB issue, too? Before someone calls me an idiot, I know Mahomes is the best QB in the league. But I get the feeling if he has the option to throw, he's throwing. Granted, that might be because he knows his RBs won't get positive yardage.

26. Zac Robinson is an interesting OC option. Mahomes is best in shotgun, but we need I formation for run game. Robinson has used the Pistol formation to solve this. Win win
