CC Sabathia chose PRINCIPLE over $500K.

  1. As a Rays fan, I commend Sabathia for retaliating especially below Sucre’s hips (not at his head). The issue is for the next five years, the Yankees constantly hit Rays batters and intentionally threw balls at Ray’s players heads. I don’t blame CC for this situation, but the Yankees are at fault when looking at the bigger picture.

  2. I dont know baseball but the throwing balls 100mph at guys is fucking nuts to me. Instead of being thrown out of thr game they should be suspended for the rest of the season. How ist intentionally throwing at someone just part of the game seems idiotic to me

  3. I'm a Red Sox fan.
Nevertheless, I admire C.C.'s attitude…here, and when he decided it was time to check in to a treatment center (despite it having been an "inconvenient" time in the Yankees' schedule).
I also admired the support he received then from his fellow teammates, manager and the team's front office.
Baseball, and life, isn't just (or even principally) about money.

  4. CC is a 🐴 on the mound. Half a mil is nothing to most of these guys. Like a normal persons pocket change at the end of the day. Pretty sad they make all this money they don't need close to half what they make

  5. Even the batter knew it was coming. Watch him drop his hands as C.C. is delivering the ball. That’s not a hand drop to prep for the swing, that’s a drop because he’s expecting that ball to be nowhere near the strike zone lmao

  6. I like this channel but can we stop glazing pitchers for throwing 100mph at someone because they did something they didn’t like. Just play better and talk your shit. I’m tired of seeing old heads defending what would be considered assault in any other context

  7. This is so fucking stupid. How does hitting a guy on the other team do anything to prevent Austin Romine having a concussion. So you wanna risk giving ANOTHER guy a concussion? Dumb old tradition that should go away
