Buddy looks like he just hit the bluffs on Omaha beach.
That is actually what it looks like when Quinn is thrilled. In fact, I would say he is joyous in this clip!
I think he’s just analyzing all the time. I’m a scientist and I see this a lot at work, besides being guilty myself of probably worse things like stopping mid-stride to stare at the wall while I figure something out, then continuing along lol
The way BG said he’s a huge hockey nerd lines up with this too
We will have a great video scrap book of him someday hopefully! He’s special in more ways than one, and I love him for it! My favorite so far is warm ups when he is just standing there, players skating around, and Faber skates by appearing to say something that breaks him of his trance. Someone with skills could maybe add the video.
He’s just breathing hard……filling his lungs. But yeah, he can look expressionless sometimes, but I have a theory he is just rewinding and re-playing the last play in his head……constantly analyzing.
He looks like he needs some water
this is his bench stare, he’s always done this. get used to it lol
That’s just his normal between shifts face.
As a canucks fan this is just his neutral state. Quinn [default] setting.
The dichotomy of Kaprizov and Hartman having a jolly ol time before it cuts is perfection
He’s probably trying to catch his breath after a 3 minute during which he skated up and down the ice three times and controlled the puck the entire time
They have screens below their skates to watch game film don’t they?
I like to think he is just constantly trying to figure out how to improve the game situation and keep in the focus state while his gear is on.
There was a recent game in which Lapanta said, “he really wears his heart on his sleeve, doesn’t he?”
MENACINGLY
I’m an isles fan but just lurking to say how much I love how depressed/distressed this dude always looks, it’s fucking hilarious. The dichotomy of that paired with how insane he is on the ice is genuinely hilarious.
