  8. Just wanna say love y’all and we will always love this team too no matter what (even when it sucks).You guys have made this season enjoyable with memes, funny comments, and good/bad takes. This definitely hurts, but for some copium we really were never meant to be here and we got to enjoy sending the eagles home. Things are still looking up for this squad, our rookies got some valuable experience, and hopefully everyone can comeback healthier. Anyways hate watching will begin! God willing both the Rams and Seahawks lose and we have a somewhat enjoyable Super Bowl with the bears and whoever makes it out of the AFC. Also don’t let this game ruin your mental for a whole week. If you need to stay off social media and just live your life. Take this time to workout, study, get better at a hobby you’ve been putting off, or read a good book. Our team may have lost but don’t let that be an excuse to lose in life too. Now go eat something and try and get some good sleep. Again love y’all and stay safe.

    But my heart doesnt take solace in that, because I love this team.

  17. This was the opposite of the Philly game where Purdy got hurt. It was Purdy alone with everyone else injured.

  21. Offense let Purdy down today. Basically didn’t get into a drive until it was 17-0. WRs getting no separation. Absolute awful showing.

  27. CMC one year older, kittle probably missing most of next season, Fred and bosa both coming back from major injuries. They are going to need a hell of an off season because the core of this team is not looking great

    Proud of this team for fighting, terrible final game of the season but that’s okay. Hopefully Trent comes back next year, I want us to use our cap space well and yes, that means grabbing Linderbaum if he hits FA, Alec Pierce too. We’ll be back and we’ll be back with a vengeance.

  30. One silver lining from this season is that Brock Purdy proved that he didn’t need the Avengers to play well. Now if we could please get the Avengers back and healthy next season for the love of God.

  33. Was nice to see Tom Brady showing love to Purdy for busting his ass this game despite the stat line looking ugly. It’s a nice counterpoint to when Stephen A Smith or Colin Cowherd inevitably just points at the stat line and claims that Purdy is “clearly a backup-level QB who should be traded for Zach Wilson” or something like that.

  34. It was a weird year. After Bosa and Brock were hurt, you just had a gut feeling like “what’s the point”. Then Alfred Collins punches the ball out at the goal line, you get hype, and then Mac leads the team to a win.

    Then Fred goes down, lose a heart breaker against the Bucs, and again “what’s the point”. But then they win a couple prime time games against the Falcons and Panthers, and uh oh I’m starting to believe again.

    Get carved up by Philip Rivers, “this team is just doomed, defense has nobody left”, but we keep watching…and we keep winning.

    Get our teeth kicked in Week 18. “Well our time is finally up. No chance we beat that eagles roster”. Kittle’s achilles explodes. Fuck, it’s over. But then the fans erupt as Purdy and the offense come back.

    We all had doubts on how it was going to go, but the team just kept bringing us back. What a ride, even as heart breaking as it was

  35. Purdy ran 400+ yds scrambling trying to make plays. Absolutely ridiculous stat to have. O-Line definitely needs to be the focus of next season

  36. Over $101.5M sitting on the sidelines injured. Another $22M in dead cap. That’s 44% of the salary cap on the sidelines. Plus Aiyuk. 

    Huge overachievement from the squad. But we need to take a hard look at the roster construction and continue retooling. Lynch also needs to massively hit on draft picks this year. 

  37. Just venting here. I actually like Darnold and wish him success, dude made some good throws, but anyone trying to use this game to gloat about him when they got like 5 running touchdowns and he barely had to throw against our JV defense is ridiculous. I’d never give up Brock for him that’s for sure.

  38. The trey lance trade has to be the biggest mismanagement of draft capital ever. Even if they really did like him, 3 first rounders?

    Gotta assume they would have hit on at least one of those

  39. WHY were they running CMC down by 3 or 4 scores, and he already had a stinger according to the announcers? What is the point? Let him sit and have a soda,  he had a hell of a year.
