I was there for the Wild Card game where he came out of the bullpen, the entire stadium erupted when we heard “ Báilalo Rocky” it was amazing
That moment in Game 3 of the World Series when he said in Japanese “seriously?” when Yamamoto started to get ready to pitch!
Closer Roki (he had the most postseason saves in 2025) and 9 up, 9 down against the Phillies still give me tears of joy
Was F5’ing for so many days before the announcement. I remember when we were all scared he might sign with the Padres (lol). Turns out, he was just the bullpen arm we needed for October, so our fear was entirely justified! 😆
Him being so locked in against the Phillies in game 4 that he kept his glove on in the dugout between innings 😮💨😮💨😮💨 as Dave said, one of the all time great appearances out of the pen!!
His performance against the Phillies allowed us to win the WS.
Joke’s on you, Philly: “I don’t understand English… I just threw the ball.”
My favorite moments are when he kept dropping huge Japanese nuts on the Phillies. That series was extremely hard fought. He was a stone cold killer the whole way through and we needed every bit of it.

I like how he made all other teams cry.

His playoff heroics were incredible
But his first outing back from the minors, when he threw the 7th or 8th in Arizona in late September – holy shit that got me amped up.
Th last time we saw him before that, he was throwing 93 and walking people.
He came back 4 months later dotting 100 on the black, looking swaggy AF.
That was awesome
his postseason debut, what an entrance
Game 5 vs. Phillies.
What’s up with Americans using British spelling of words? I’m seeing this more and more, even with my students.
The crowd chanting his name during the Phillies game and you saw in his eyes that the confidence was back.
