  1. Rob the Yankees? They’re too stupid to do that. I can’t stand Shapiro or Atkins! Bunch of bums just lost BOTH Tucker and Bo!!! PATHETIC

  2. Guys , everyday you jump from big name to big name position players asking for insane big bucks , stop it , pitching wins , look at a good LH reliever like Andrew Chafin or trade for a lights out reliever like Mason Miller. That's how you win games.

  3. Dude, really are you still doing this continuing to give false hope has gone on long enough. Move on the Jays aren’t gonna get Bellinger. It’s not gonna happen. I don’t care and I’m tired of hearing all this breaking bullshit. once again, just using the Blue Jays to get other people to bid higher I overpay just like they’ve done with Tucker and Bo

  4. What's the corresponding move? Unless there's an upgrade somewhere else that can be made via trading one or more of the other outfielders (most likely back end reliever), then Bellinger doesn't make sense. Besides, the Yankees had him and they crashed out in the playoffs.

  5. Jays need to re-sign Varsho as soon as possible. Can’t let him reach a weak FA class next year.
Varsho and Giminez play most important defensive roles up the middle for the Jays.

  6. FO can show they are going for it by forgetting Bellinger and go get Skubal and sign long term…would have potentially best rotation in MLB and not just year…moving forward

  7. ABOUT BELLINGER – how can you say he is not worth his asking price, when you are willing to give Tucker 400 mil?
WTF kind of logic or realm of common sense is in your head?
First – Bellinger has great defensive (especially compared to Tucker) and we seen Bellinger's defensive abilities last season. Fans/media cry when ones D "sux" (Bo, Okamoto, Santander), praise the likes of Gimenez for defense willing to eat his single-A stick just to have his D, claim the Jays are defensive first team – here comes Cody fullfing that "desire", that "identity" and guys like Nick look right past it, seeing zero value! All while smacking us with the (need to replace Varsho and Springer) narrative during the want for Tucker, trying to sell us on (thinking about tomorrow) – and here Bellinger fits that desire once again, still Nick/fans/media hold little value in Bellinger. Dummee's!
Second – Bellinger's WAR last season 5.1 compared to Tucker's 4.6 (the stat you all sux the d!ck raw off of!), is better than ya boi Tucker. If Kyle is worth 400 million with worse defense, worse WAR, worse power numbers, worse batting average (for starters) … then Cody is worth 200 million or more!
You dummee's always miss the obvious, instead accepting the trained monkee thinking patterns of being told what is "better" than w/o any research/use of intuition/common sense and logic, agree on the common narrative of what it says "better" is – can't explain why? You just do, yo! "keeping him away from the Yankee's" as reasoning is soy-boy, you weak umbrella children! I want to play the best competition, beat the beat – not run away from them, and try to win the cow@rds way. So typical of any generation after Gen-X – you soft as twinkie fillings, look to do less and get more, hard done by, dummee, victim, beta-baby's.

  8. Final straw i give the jays an a season but with all the bs with tuckers-and loss of bo from reliable sources who where not reliable they will not be getting a a plus team that is all i will say now also this is why there will be best case senecio minamal games in 2027 and worst a lockout and i will not be watching streams of any kind ever again just seeing the news- IM NOT SAYING BLUE JAYS HAD A BAD OFFSEASON

  9. This would be a good strategic move. 7 years for $210 m. If we lose out, it's OK. We're used to losing out on most high-profile players anyway. One caveat. He has to want to play here. If he's not happy in a Blue Jays uniform, he could become a big liability and have another streak of bad seasons as he did in 2021 and 2022. I hope that we haven't forgotten about trying to get a lights-out closer (via trade).

  10. To that BIG DUMMEE (stillwest) – you can look for the downside of every players offense and defense.
Example: Tucker batting .196 with RISP position last year, just as bad with two strikes on him – couldn't clip 80 ribbies or 23 jacs as a power bat, throw in the bad defense … how the f@ck is that worth his money?
Now go through all 30+ mil players, and see where they look "not worth it" – some have bad numbers at home, hit on the road, have bad numbers at night time vs. daytime … the list goes on (ask a sports gambler they'll give you deep insight on those types of splits). Show us that these types of "negative" anomalies doesn't exist with 30+ million dollar players, then your point will hold validity – ya dummee monkee. Also since 2021, Cody spent roughly 24 months stretched over three part seasons with a nagging injury that seems to be fix.

  11. Nobody wants to live or play in Canada..The only FA you signed was a guy nobody else wanted in Santander and his 1st yr was a disaster..You offered plenty of $$$ and years to many guys over the last 3 years and everybody has said no thanks..You got guys betting on themselves and taking short term deals rather than take a long term deal with Toronto..You havent realized your players are all thru trade homegrown or the last FA left where they have no other choice? Who the hell is moving to another country when they have other options right here in LA or NY?

  12. Cody Bellinger would be huge for the Jays who are doing a great job pivoting to another player in free agency. I think the Jays finally hold off the Mets and Yankees pursuing Bellinger.

  13. No thanks to Cody Bellinger. Bat speed and hard hit rate are red flags. His hitting is league average other than at Yankee Stadium. Run with what we have – Bellinger isn't worth it and won't age well. Would prefer to see Varsho getting an extension – similar WAR per 162 games but way cheaper.

  14. Good Lad. Do the Dodgers need another outfielder? I'm not going to get too excited. Would be nice, I really like Cody, he's a true professional. Thanks for sharing.

  15. Is it just me ? Why are we talking about Bellinger? We are in dire need of a shutdown LH relief pitcher. We cant be serious about going into the season with Little and Fluharty
