Could have changed the course of the game if he wasn’t such an unathletic fuck.

  1. I understand if you’re trying to tackle someone like Charbonnet, but Shaheed weighs 180 lbs. You can’t put your body on the line against a relatively averaged sized man?

  2. When you watch film. THIS is intentional. DHall stepping on that guard who said he didn’t he was stepped on was not intentional.

  3. I genuinely believe this played is that one that shattered the niners head coach. Why the fuck would you EVER slide tackle a guy in football. Bro just shows up to kick and leaves

  4. So many respondents suggesting this is a soccer move? Tripping is as illegal in soccer as it is in the NFL

  5. I’ve watched hundreds of hours of football and I don’t think I’ve ever seen this

  6. They need to change the rule, because within the rules, it’s a smart attempt. Douchey, but smart.

There’s no clear path rule, there are no penalty kicks, so just award the team a touchdown if he trips him down.

  7. It’s kind of sad how kickers have become such a specialized position that they can’t even perform one of the most basic fundamentals in the sport. George Blanda never slide-tackled anyone.

And he’s the exact same size and weight as Shaheed, it’s not like he was trying to tackle Darnell Washington or something.

  8. If this guy had been ejected from the game for that move, the Niners would have scored 0 points.

  9. Saw someone in the 9ers subreddit say “it’s a shame it didn’t work”. Had like 60 upvotes.

  10. Entire team is bitch mode. Whining, complaining, blaming teammates. Poor culture starts at the top Kyle.

  11. Tom Brady tripped Rig to save a pick 6 and only got a 15 yard penalty. Feel like it should be a disqualification (red card in soccer) when it is obvious to prevent scoring

  12. I said when it happened, things like that should be something that can lead to an ejection, so dangerous.

As dangerous as targeting in this instance.

  13. Forget this trip attempt. He made himself look like a fool. I want that clown that violently head butted JSN after a play directly in front of a ref who didnt do nothing dealt with.

  14. I thought at the time the Piñeiro should have been ejected. Then I read the NFL Rules and doubled down. Rule 12, Article 14:

    >All players are prohibited from… tripping an opponent, including the runner…

Penalty: Loss of 15 yards. If any of the fouls is judged by the official(s) to be flagrant, the offender may be disqualified as long as the entire action is observed by the official(s). If the foul is by the defense, it is also an automatic first down.

I don’t know how you get more flagrant than that.
