Nothing says january football line Bills blaiming the refs after being knocked out by the AFC west winner

  1. I think they are right though that was a catch and I would be livid if it was us instead.

  2. Yeah, let’s not be those guys. This was clearly a catch, these dudes really got robbed.

  3. I thought it was more of a catch than a non-catch. The Broncos fans are saying “if the defender wasn’t there it just would have bounced away down field” but they have no way of knowing that.

The bigger issue is nobody really knows what constitutes a catch anymore and leads to situations like this.

    Pretty typical Carl Cheffers fuckery.

  4. Nah they didn’t get hosed. Wasn’t the missed hold in the end zone couple plays prior to this. So game should’ve been over anyway on a safety

  5. Who cares? This is a Chiefs sub. This sounds as whiney as a Bills fan. They did get screwed by Cheffers on several calls.

  6. To me this was clearly a catch. But the game came down to this because of all the turnovers between Allen and Cook. You can’t turn the ball over that many times in a playoff game like that.

  7. Seems people here are split on the call but I agree that it wasn’t a catch. McMillian had more possession of the ball as they’re coming down than Cooks.

Also Allen could have not turned the ball over 3 more times and missed wide open touchdowns and the game doesn’t come to this. It’s always baby ass shit to blame the refs for your team’s mistakes.

  8. The fact that “nobody knows what a catch is” isn’t the fault of the NFL at this point. Surviving the ground has been part of the rule for over a decade, and it’s frankly officiated pretty consistently. This was obviously an interception by rule, and the last DPI was blatant as well.

  9. I’m not a Bills fan (go KC) but I gotta agree…they lost a squeaker to bad officiating.

  10. So does the surviving the catch not mean anything to these guys? If they think this is a catch then any ball that falls outta the receivers hands the second they have to both feet down should be a fumble. What stupid logic.

  11. Overtime rules were changed to favor the Bills. Bills still lose in overtime because their defense gave the game away with two obvious PI calls.

Then the Bills DB argued with the refs and threw his helmet. Making the winning FG a 24 yard kick. This was on the Bills defense.

  12. Clear interception.

Cook didn’t survive the ground. A player isn’t considered down just because the knee touches — he has to complete the process of the catch. Control through the ground matters, and he didn’t maintain it.

Think about it this way: if the DB isn’t there and his knee hits, but the ball comes loose as he goes to the ground — that’s not a catch. Same principle applies here.

  13. Was not a catch. Bills didn’t get screwed by officiating. If that’s the case then Denver was screwed with that no call BS hold in the end zone that should have been a safety. Let’s just say neither should have been in that position. Broncos messed up by not scoring at times to have a bigger lead & Buffalo messed up by not keeping their lead. Bad call & no calls happen but that’s not what decided this game. Clearly PI at the end of OT. I can’t stand either of these two teams BTW. Felt gross watching that shit.

  14. Maybe the Bills shouldnt have gifted 3 points to the Broncos with 11 secs left in the half

  15. KC paid off the refs, now the donkeys paid the refs, every team that beats the bills in the post season pays the refs apparently

  16. Well, the Bronco fans are crying that if the ref would’ve called holding in the endzone then Nix wouldn’t have been hurt.

  17. The bills fan base and media is so cringy, McDermott saying “I’m standing up for buffalo”. Maybe you shouldn’t have turned the ball over a million times and let Bo convert on all those third downs

  18. lol the bills shouldn’t of give up 57 yards in penalty’s in the last drive they might of won. Actually who am I kidding they turned the ball over 5 times, ya blame the refs that the only logical solution. Fuck the cry baby bills

  19. In all honestly I hope the bills get another rule changed for them this offseason with catches. The rule is insanely over complicated and there needs to be a lower standard. It’d probably result in more fumbles but fuck it.

  20. There are always plenty of missed calls if you go looking, but this was not one of them. They could complain about the missed DPI in the endzone. Broncos could complain about the hold in the end zone that would have ended the game. Etc., etc.

Just do not turn the ball over 5 times and Buffalo wins this game easily.

  21. If we’re talking the interception, I feel like the receiver is the guy risking the most going up for that ball, should have been a catch the moment the shoulder touched – but that’s not the rule. The whole surviving the ground thing on a contested catch like that doesn’t seem fair. Game should have ended on the hold in the end zone though. I don’t know how they missed it, shit was blatant.

  22. I don’t think there’s a fan base alive that would see how that played out and not be a little salty towards the refs.

Most crucial moment in the game and the refs called that. Idk. I didn’t have a dog in the race but I just wish refs only called super blatant fouls in those situations. Let the players decide.
