Lots of talk about hitting with RISP, but another thing to get excited about with Bo. He does his best work in the run up to the playoffs.

  1. I am skeptical about RISP splits and “clutch factor” and think playoffs splits have more to do with the fundamental ways team strategy and a player’s day-to-day life is different in post-season ball

    and then there’s guys like bo bichette who make you say “look at this freak play, this *can’t* be an statistical quirk, can it?”

  4. i cannot forget that if jeff hoffman doesn’t give up the flukiest home run of all time, bichette is the world series hero with an absolute missile 3 run bomb off ohtani. you do that, you can basically forget any conversation about if the guy has “it” or the clutch gene or whatever you wanna call it
