I think given the last few years with the Steelers, their fatal flaw has been their offense (lack of), thus, I think Art and Khan go with a offensive minded coach (Klint Kubiak and other) will be the selection. The previous trends still apply: A young coordinator, 30-ish years old to 40-ish years old, leader of men but this time an offensive mastermind. It has been noted that they Steelers have mad interest in the McVay/Kyle K Coaching Tree. I think the Steelers have the ability to find gems/underrated coaches.

Todd Haley had the offense ROLLING. And the Steelers let him go after his offense put a 42 points while the defense gave up 45 points. The offense has sucked since then…

Much respect to you Todd Haley. When you were let go from Steelers I said they fired the wrong man. Tomlin made 2 or 3 calls that lost games that season. Your offense put up points like never seen in the burg week after week.

The talk of Tomlin likely will NEVER go away…..people hated MT for years…for allot of reasons….mostly because of the hypocrisy of sports media making excuses for not firing MT when many other coaches were being fired …years of the media telling Pittsburgh fans we were wrong for wanting to move on…always making excuses for MT….while other coaches get blamed for all there faults….the people who support Tomlin were paid to play for Tomlin or coach for Tomlin…..always a connection to Tomlin helping their careers..

Tomlin may not have won with Cowher's players but he most certainly won with Cowher's coaches.
Hines Ward for coach or OC he would definitely make the players earn their roster spot regardless of name noteriety. He would also bring a dynamic selfless offensive coaching philosophy with lots of wins and fear the Steelers again.

I thank God for Coach Mike Tomlin for all he did in 19 years for the Pittsburgh Steelers the 3rd coach since 1969 I’ve been a Steelers fan since the 70’s and they will always & forever be my team, I never jump ship for another team…He’s a man of God first, family man & a hall of fame coach, I pray that God will continue to bless him & his family, he will always be a Pittsburgh Steelers… may God lead & guide him to his next assignment…Thank God for you always & forever…..
He didn’t stepped down. He had no choice. Todd was good but Mike is terrible at what he does. Very very glad he’s gone not even an average coach not great or good plus 10 years over due.
