  1. It’s weird to hyper focus on Stanley, you point out flames are trading Anderson, he is their best defender. Vancouver traded Hughes, and you point out bad record as a normal reason to make decisions like this but you avoid talking about Morrissey for some reason. Talk about lemons for 5 mins instead.

  4. Assuming Salo is healthy I have no doubt the Jets will paper him down on deadline day so he is eligible for the AHL playoffs. So even if he finishes the season on the NHL roster there’s a good chance he does play games for the Moose again

  7. Great cast as always! One thing I'd take note of though:

    You need 40 games played for your season to count towards accruing enough for arbitration and FA. So it is possible the Jets have set this up to maximize his NHL experience while ensuring cost control moving forward.

  8. Nailed it. I hope the jets brass is watching. Salo needs to be playing this year with the jets the rest of the way through. And solid take by lyss, lhd bottom pairing dman are one of the easiest positions to replace. If we lock him up, that officially blocks are top prospects on the blue line (the sweedes)
