WINDOW WASTED? Cincinnati Bengals Must MODERNIZE Offseason To Maximize Joe Burrow

The Cincinnati Bengals MUST make changes to their offseason approach in order to maximize Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins’s Super Bowl window.

Jake Liscow and James Rapien explain why contract structure, cash spend and the Bengals’ overall mindset/approach must change if they’re going to build a championship roster ahead of the 2026 season!

The Bengals must modernize their front office practices, and a return to 2021 and 2022’s free agency aggression to fill out the roster. The guys spotlight how conservative salary cap management, inactive free agencies, and delayed extensions have cost the Bengals on the field. Discussions include restructuring Burrow’s deal, freeing cap space, and letting go of the fantasy of “sustainability.”

  1. Mike Brown wants his tombstone to say shrewd business man and has no interest in it saying Superbowl winner. Much like all the corporations the bottom line is all that matters, sadly.

  2. Duke told everyone one of the main problems, no one is in charge in the front office so no one is accountable. It’s like a restaurant owner on Kitchen Nightmares insisting their food is great but they are going out of business…

  3. Just resign Risner, push to resign Flacco, unless he goes to Atlanta, and have the Bengals leadership be required to watch this program and take some hints on the draft and free agents

  4. Its sad that they are waisting the talent on this team, and the organization dont even care ,until i see a major change i’m not spending my money on this bull shit!

  5. Y'ALL TWO ALWAYS SAYING HOW THE BENGALS CAN SPEND THEIR Owners MONEY BUT MIKE BROWN ALSO ALREADY NO OVERALL PERIODS! ON HOW HIS 💰 WILL BECOME SPENT PERIOD GUYS!IT'S A BIG huge BUSINESS AND MIKE BROWN IS VERY SMART INTO KEEPING MORE MONEY OVERALL AND ALWAYS' NOT TOLD BY ANYONE WERE HIS 💰 WILL GO AS FAR AS coaching and players GO OVERALL PERIODS!

  6. Maximizing profit is Brown’s primary motivation. He would like to win, but not at the expense of reducing bottom line. For sure we all care more about winning than the Brown family does. Next year will be 9-8 at best. Window has closed

  7. Hey guy's 👍👍 Even the Reds are making trades??? Making obvous salary dump to sign players to improve the Team. My question…Why cant the Bengals do the same??? Duke, Mike and Katie need to do the same as Nick Kraul???

  8. Look what the offense did in 24. They broke numerous records, were awesome, and gave us all hope. Did they fix the defense? They made it worse!! Boycott till they show they’re committed to winning!!!

  9. Love that you ignore that Flacco got ball back twice in last 7 minutes of jets game and went 3 and out and burned no clock. And bears game had horrible clock management

  10. For the Bengals it should be a no brainer to pay Trey Hendrickson, as he is one of the best edge rushers in the league. To make it happen, the Bengals may need to rework a few contracts. 🏈 💪

  11. Katie and the front office should be ashamed of themselves! We actually hit on generational talent and they still operate like some secondhand general store. They need to stop fn around and go into the offseason aggressive focused on going all in. There's no way we shouldn't be competing for the chip year in and year out.

  12. Expect the Bengals front office to underwhelm. That is what they do every year, and that is what they will do again. There will be inconsequential free agents signed and the draft will deliver many disappointments.
