Says in the article he “died peacefully at the game where he liked to go.” If I die while at the rink watching my favourite team I’d be okay with that. May he rest in peace 💙🤍❤️

that would be a very messed up scenario sitting near that guy for the game. I have seen reddit threads on people sitting next to a deceased person on an airplane etc… this is unique.
‘contest’ made it sound like the team actively encouraged fans to partake in something… AI?

condolences to the family. hopefully knowing that their loved one passed peacefully in an atmosphere and place that gave him great pleasure gives them some solace. RIP

Honestly, I feel much better after reading this:

Condolences to his family, but if you could tell me that one day as a 75 year old man I’d go to a game of the team I loved and just fall asleep and not wake up… that would be a damned good way to go compared to most of the alternatives.
