I doubt the state of Kansas was forcing a dome on the Chiefs. The Hunts have been talking about one for decades (going back to the ‘rolling roof’ idea).
Downside to a dome is you lose the tradition of cold weather or snow football. The upside is you don’t have people getting hypothermia to see their team play….or bailing on tickets to watch it at home.
I can only remember two “snow” playoff games in Arrowhead, but the snow wasn’t really even coming down by game time. Most of it fell ahead of time and it was just brutally cold.
The way Missouri sees things, they prefer to have no football at all
Not the way pretty much anything team sees it now. Dome let’s then maximize profits.
