i dont even think jags are gonna resign newsome… could get both..
I was anti-trading Newsome at first, but what a steal. The contract difference and years left had sold me somewhat but Campbell is a perfect fit for Schwartz’s defense and he was electric throughout the year. Hopefully Emerson comes back and is his old self because Ward/Campbell/Emerson is a dynamic trio.
I really do believe that if we can do something about the offensive line and a couple WR’s we can make some noise next year.

Almost every move AB made in the past year has worked out really well. Hopefully he can keep this streak going and nail the HC hire.
Newsome literally lost the Jags their playoff game I’d say we came out ahead
Newsome pretty much singlehandedly lost the Jags their playoff game
And he doesn’t dance after every uncatchable ball 20 yards over the receivers head. Great move!

Newsome is good, but he wasn’t the best fit. He flourished in JAX’s more zone heavy defense, while Campbell was a perfect fit for our man heavy schemes.
AB did his job last season like his job depended on it or something g
