He’s tried a lot of different lineups. We’re just a poorly constructed team with a lot of inexperience. And Poole who had to be a big part of what they’re doing has been an absolute bust. There’s really nothing Borrego can do to win. Zion isn’t Giannis. And Giannis is having a hell of a time with a deficient roster. It is what it is unfortunately.
He’s being directed to play Fears and Queen heavy minutes, those two are terrible together, and neither of Fears or Poole can play effectively with Jose, who has been our best guard.
What is it that you would like for him to do other than defy Dumars/Weaver and get fired?

There is nothing in gods green earth that Borrego could do with this team besides play the rookies less. I do feel like Looney should be playing more but apparently I’m the only Pelicans fan on the planet who feels that way. And no matter what I say people just respond back that he’s trash, guess we are watching different things.
Oh, And maybe Borrego could tell Jordan Poole to reel back the ridiculousness or he isn’t going to play him. But it’s not like sitting Poole on the bench will help win any more games, but it would be coaching with principles.
