  1. Kirby Dach Unfortunately, sits injured more than he plays. His contract is done this year and he can be easily traded too.I do not think that they will offer him another contract. It's a shame, because he's a tall and strong player who can't stay healthy.3rd line for him .It will take time for him to start playing again the way he can.Every time is like that.

  2. I said Rheinbacher wasn’t all that good for a 5th overall pick that he was disappointing on another podcast and I got banned for that, what a sensitive podcaster gonna have to grow thicker skin for sure if he wants to survive the podcasting game

  3. I have no issue trading DR but would have to be for the right player as you said. Have to be for a young high end 2C/Top 6 player that signed long term with the team

  4. I have been watching Reinbacher's play this year in Laval and I am not reassured! I realize that he has missed many games in the last 2 years but he will not be the level of player that the Habs management thought he would be. Maybe in 4 or 5 years he will be a reliable top 4?

  5. Ive been a Montreal Canadiens fan all my life, way back to when we only had one channel on TV to watch, Ive never been to a LIVE game in my life and now that I have had some health SHOCKS ive put it on my bucket list to finally go and see a LIVE game, hopefully in February or March at the latest, Loved The Flower, The Roadrunner, Mr Dryden, Mr Roy, and all the others, love hearing all the rumours and updates…

  6. Start Kirby on 3rd or 4th line to get his legs under him. He's missed a TON of games & will need time to adjust to game-speed.
I don't mind using Reinbacher as trade bait in a package IF Habs can get a top 6 forward…BUT not Zharofsky…..that kid looks like a beast. Imagine him playing with Demidov.
    Boooyyyyaaahh!!!!!
    Go Habs!!!!!!

  7. Hmmmm…Slaf was not "demoted" to the second line. He was transferred to a line where instead of following the stars he could lead the rookies. There was never a question that Slaf could play on the first line, I just think that he adds more (both his own potential and that of the rookies). I will say it til the end: I could see Slaf-Demidov are a thing since that first time Demidov was put on PP1 (vs. Canucks). They can be a duo just like Suzuki-Caufield. And like the Avs back in the day, if they needed a super line to get a goal they would use Forsberg-Sakic-Hejduk. Slaf can always be mixed back in as needed, but I think you keep he and Demidov together. Trust me.

  8. PLEASE HUGO don't trade any of our D! We're solid with our current forward group and all the prospects in the pipe. It's our D that's our problem!

  9. Wish we could stop pretending that Reinbacher is some blue chip prospect. HE ISN'T and it's time to own up to the fact he's a bust. He's only had 3 points in his last 18 games. He only continues to be hyped to keep the Montreal fan base quiet…but other teams in the league know what's going on and they aren't stupid. He barely has any value now. Not even sure we could get a 2nd round pick for him.

  10. Hugues is too business smart to trade Reinbacher when his value is sorta low. Same with thing with trading Dach. Unless it's a missing piece that matches Suzuki's age, he pretty much follow the golden rule of Sell high (Mailloux at AHL all-stars) / Buy low . I see more Engstrom having a proper value for a trade at the moment.

  11. Robertson would be a great fit if a reasonable extension was in place, Rangers want to mix things up, Will Cuylle and Alexis Lafreniere would be a nice package in a multiplayer deal. With the chemistry Hage has with Horcoff how about a package to bring him over that would be unreal!

  12. I would move Reinbacher for a RHD who can play now. The Rangers have let it be known they are ready for a retool. The player I would target is Braden Schneider. He is only 24 ,averages 20 minutes.
Schneider can conceivably play another ten years in the league. He will be an upgrade owe Struble and Arber. Eventually he can be a second pairing RHD. I am not saying one for one. But these two will be the principles.
