Our HC just held one of the leagues best offenses to 17 points 🔥

  1. My preference would be Shula and Scheelhaas but I wouldn’t mind an offensive minded HC.

  2. I understand youre trying to hype it up, but calling the Bears one of the best offenses is a stretch.

  3. I don’t think it’s as bad of an idea to have a defensive coach as the HC as some people think.

The problem is in having a head coach that doesn’t realize how important a good offense is, and then you have a guy like Tomlin who hired jokers like Matt Canada to run the offense.

Look at Mike Vrabel. He’s a former linebacker and defensive coach and he went and hired one of the best offensive coordinators in the history of the game. The same with Belichik when he was coaching. He always hired great coaches to run the offense.

We just need a head coach that will do that.

We shouldn’t assume that the next head coach is going to do what Tomlin did with their coordinators. I would imagine that they will realize that doing the opposite of what Tomlin was doing is the right way to go about it.

  4. All I want is soemthing other than Flores. I will burn the city of Pittsburgh to the ground if we hire Flores so he can belittle players and fail miserably

  5. the steelers are getting a defensive guy. its just how they operate. why would they switch up now of its clearly worked in the past? some of you are setting yourselves up for disappointment. we need to just hope for a guy that can get these players to buy in, regardless of if they call the offense or defense

  6. Did Minter to the Ravens and Shula to the Steelers already get confirmed, and I just had no idea?

  7. The Steelers are gonna hire Ryan Leaf…we need a head coach who lets his coordinators do their jobs… We’ve only had yes men to Tomlin for a long time. No coach got better under him…his quips and one-liners can suck a dick too.

  8. My argument when people say the “Steeler way” doesn’t work anymore, is that we don’t know, because we haven’t seen it in 15 years. It isn’t a highly paid defense. It’s finishing #1 or #2 year after year, paired with a strong run game. Shula is the man that can get this defense back yo domination. Look at what Demeco Ryans did with Houston. He’s just stuck with lil bro CJ. Shula’s defensive looks disciplined and smart. They take great angles, attack the football, and play with amazing awareness in space. Very gap and assignment sound. Bring that culture to the talent we have here now. Do it yesterday.

  9. There’s some connection here with us not taking Dan Marino and his grandpappy coaching the undefeated Dolphins. This sways the karmic balance our way somehow. I feel it in my ball.

  10. Don’t get your hopes up guys.

    He interviewed with Baltimore too.

What’s a more tempting job? Lamar Jackson as your qb or fucking nobody?
