  4. Feels a little bit like your friend with the toxic ex who gets with somebody normal and is super happy but a little more so based on how bad the previous person was.

    I never liked that we hired Joe without a true external search, and I hope we at least do our due diligence and interview Taylor Jenkins before committing to Tiago

  5. I never liked Chauncey but let’s not kid ourselves, there’s still probably a lot more of his baggage this team is riding on rather than Splitters contribution.

  8. It’s all Deni. Without they have maybe like 7 wins. This fanbase is so stupid, didn’t realize how good he was until as of late. Going to be funny when he dips in 2 years for a max contract on a real team. 

  9. I just want to have an actual interview process. The Billups interview process seems like it was a sham and Olshey was going to hire Billups no matter what. Then Joe Cronin got the permanent GM gig after Olshey was fired. That means the last actual interview process for GM or coach was thirteen years ago when they hired Stotts. If it ends with Thiago hired because they think he was the best candidate, that’s fine. He’d obviously have a leg up on other candidates at this point.

  10. Typically in sports coaches that start mid-season and have the interim tag only get that tag removed after the season is over if the team wants to retain them. I’m all for the Blazers removing the tag officially but understand that business won’t likely take place until the season is over. So patience is a virtue here y’all, just chill.
