Fuck LA

  1. Fuck LA, but to be fair, I think in this case it’s more they’re lamenting that they had him and waived him TWICE.

  2. It’s partially opportunity and partially system. Guys aren’t always the same in different systems – Indy is an unselfish system that helps the collective good of players – the org has always been that way.

But yes…sure…I’ll listen to how it’s a good trade for Gabe Vincent and a SRP at the deadline or whatever now.

  3. I think playing in LA is a double edged sword. Obviously there’s more money off the court for endorsements for starters etc. obviously it’s not 22oF out there right now. But it’s gotta be hard hearing the dummy talking heads like Stephen A talk shit if you lay an egg on a Wednesday in January.

It’s definitely easier for them to land free agents, and they always get calls, but I think a sensitive guy like Myles would’ve absolutely crumbled out there.

It’s one thing to ignore bored dudes on Reddit talking shit, another thing entirely to walk past a tv in the airport and see Kendrick Perkins talking shit on national television.

I don’t want Myles and that stinker contract back but I’m glad we didn’t trade him (or anyone else recently) to LA

  4. Before the year started i wrote that i had a feeling Huff could play at least as well as Turner did (except Turner hits more 3s), Huff has exceeded my expectations.

  5. Not just a shot blocker 👀 Granted this feels like a big coming out game, but I hope he can keep it going! When he’s on he’s actually a pretty exciting player

  6. They’re not asking for a trade goofball they’re talking about how they had him and waived him twice lol

  7. Seeing him starting to understand the offense and his positioning is just night and day versus the beginning of the season. I think with Hali throwing around the rock, he could really be special. He seems to get this offense now. His defense needs improvement but he has the second half for that to click..

  8. “There the trade rumors go again”
Always pissed me off how we happily had Myles for years, but because EVERY offseason other fans wanted a cheap and good center, he was in “trade rumors” and now we seen as bad fans.

  9. Can’t wait to see what he can do when haliburton comes back next season. Huffs only downside is consistency and perimeter defense. Which are getting better with more play time
