I don’t know much about DeBoer other than he’s a playoff loser but I’ve heard Stars fans had pretty much the same complaints about him as we do about Hiller.

Why would DeBoer even pick up the phone for the Kings? Some contender is going to get knocked out early and decide a coaching change is what they need and he’s at the top of most lists.
So why get tied up with a franchise that has little to no hope of contending for many years?
Can Coaching contracts be traded? Maybe we can get Jim Montgomery.

This sub is so knee jerky and sure. Hiller is obviously not going to be around long, but hiring some big name coach isn’t going to solve anything.
The Kings are systemically faulty and will never accomplish anything with the overwhelmingly complacent management that they have.
The only thing that they need from the coach is the ability to develop players after they commit to a *real* rebuild. A hard reboot.
