I was just coming to post the same thing. Can he be our #1 target now? Please?
Add him to the list of good options to replace Tomlin
This hurts us. Getting to coach Allen is going to be more attractive than what we have.
I mean, let’s have an interview. Just please not Mike McCarthy
Asking Josh to fumble w/ impunity was a terrible game plan.
So many HC jobs open I’m starting to think I have a chance.
Damn I was really hoping they’d wait another year that’s probably the most attractive job in football rn
He doesn’t deserve this. Ok, new stadium, new coach. New look for the Bills?
This is a surprising move from the Bills. Pretty sure it’s not the right one either.
No way- he’s an excellent coach and leader.
Edit- I guess it’s legit. Just saw on the news they are letting him go. Sad- he seems like a fantastic guy/coach. We should speak with him since he and Tomlin were classmates and teammates back in school
Fuck me. Bills fan here. First place I saw it was this post.
makes no sense…despite this playoffs out come, they still got a good coach and a good thing going..no point of firing the coach, they still have playoff success
This feels a bit extreme, Allen having a dumb fumble, and other turnovers to only lose to the #1 seed in overtime didn’t strike me as a firing offence
And yet this organization rode it out with Tomlin for a long time. Make it make sense
Is everyone just cleaning house now?
This is crazy. Why are teams expecting post season results out of their coaches all of a sudden?
They should be happy with winning seasons.
His Andy Reid style bounce could be legendary.
I can’t believe they fired a guy with 7 consecutive winning seasons.
This is crazy to me. Josh Allen turned the ball over four times and at least 3 of them were his fault completely. Idk enough about Bills as a whole organization but firing the HC seems like a knee-jerk reaction.
He’s bringing Allen to Pittsburgh. 😂
He is going to seek his 5th and 6th year of eligibility in the CFB.
“Shit” – John Harbaugh
I honestly don’t know if there has been a single year with so many head coaches fired or leaving in nfl history?
Unpopular opinion, but I want the Steelers to hire him after seeing how he was able to develop Josh Allen. This was a mistake by the Bills, especially seeing that they are retaining Beane.
If they don’t fire their GM, then what is the point of this? McDermott could only do so much with what he’s given, and he led them to a really good season this year with a mediocre roster.
The fact him and Tomlin have history together could mean some inside talks to make him a real target, even considering some other teams appear more attractive. That is unless the inside scoop from Tomlin to McDermott is to stay away lol
Rough job. Can you imagine being on a team of 32 coworkers and getting fired because for the last 9 years you have only been a top 5 performer but never the #1. Just brutal career path and expectations.

That’s dumb of them.
