I got this in a box of sports memorabilia and am trying to figure out which year it's from. Anyone recognize any of the signatures?

  1. I dont think those are real mlb player signatures. I looked at all of the names with numbers and searched players that wore those numbers in the time frame of the hat, and I didn’t come up with any matches

  3. The printed name looks like “RICH BURK”. Rich Burk was the Portland Beavers broadcaster from 2001-2010.

    The autograph above the SD logo appears to be Jon Knott, He was in the Padres organization in various levels from 2002-2006. He was on the Portland Beavers (Padres AAA team) from 2003-2006.

    None of the others really stand out to me as big league names. One of the autographs looks like it starts with an X, which made me think of Xavier Nady who was in the organization during those same years, but after Googling his autograph it doesn’t look like a match.

  4. I might’ve found another match for George Kottaras who was with the Padres org from 2003-2006, Portland in 2006. His autograph is bottom right of the SD logo.

    Maybe the connection is Portland Beavers 2006? Hopefully that puts you on the right track. It doesn’t look like minor league jersey numbers are easily found, at least for me. That would help a lot for identifying some of the others.
