1. Yanks can’t afford a 600 mill payroll, they barely cleared 700 mill last year, no smart business spends 100% of what they make, that is not a profitable business model. Yanks aren’t the dodgers or owned by a hedge fund 😂

8. I dont understand a free agency deadline, why is it needed other than for content creators? Why should fans care, let players get to meet as many teams as possible. 9. There is a player draft because baseball wanted to stop the yankees from getting all the best players. There will be a lockout to get a salary cap to stop the dodgers from getting all the best players snd eventually there will be an international draft to prevent them from getting every top player from Japan. In both these cases it will be 29 owners vs 1 owner. Hal will fight for the salary cap as much to stop the player salary escalation as Dodger player domination.

14. My hatred for the Dodgers go way back to the 60”s. Yankees and Dodgers World Series. I was born in 1954 so I guess I somehow picked up on the Yankees vs Dodgers. Plus the Dodgers seem like a sure thing to win every year. What makes me mad is that the Yankees don’t go after players the right way.
