Raiders interview schedule for the week (so far).

  1. These are all in Miami (Brady is a part of these interviews). I think next weeks lineup will be interesting as that’s when they can do 2nd interviews with Rams trio, Kubiak and Webb (basically anyone who won this weekend).

  2. First in-person interviews of this cycle and the second ones for these candidates. There are others who are still in PO and can’t do it.

  3. Saw that article from breer that McDaniel’s probably going to be the next oc in Tampa…

  4. It’s the second interview for Evero, this time in person. Maybe it’s not the case because they’re good candidates but in person interviews with Evero and McDaniel would fullfil the requirements of the league and after that Raiders could hire whoever they want.

I say this because the other remaining candidates wouldn’t fulfill it afaik (Shula, Kubiak, Lafleur, the other Kubiak, Hafley, Webb, Minter, Nagy).

My preferred candidates are McDaniel and Webb btw

  5. Definitely need to add McDermott to this list, he would be great for us. But would need an OC to develop Mendoza.

  6. Happy with McDaniel, Minter, Hafley. The dream is Kubiak but will have to wait 3 weeks it looks like if that’s who they really want

  7. McDermott should definitely get an interview once his head isn’t spinning

  8. I’m thinking they make a decision this week and decide to pass on coaches still in playoffs. Sucks to miss out on Kubiak, but I can’t see them potentially waiting 3 more weeks while other candidates get hired, especially if Buffalo or Baltimore are eyeing Kubiak. My guess would be McDaniel or Minter. They could try to bring in Webb or Scheelhaase after as OC. Doing it now gives them the best chance of having a good coaching staff at all levels.

  9. I am such a sucker for this team, but I really have high hopes THIS time.

And yes, I had high hopes last time.

    And the time before that.

    And the time before that.

    And the time before that.

    And the time before that.
