  1. He was never built to be part of a tank crew. Hope he rips it up in San Jose and gets his bag

  2. Sharks are going to be kinda hard to hate with Toffoli Celebrini and Sherwood.

  3. Meanwhile Captain Quinn left the team without saying a word. Wishing Sherwood all the best. Hope he gets the contract he’s looking for

  4. Appreciate that he gives the org credit but its all him, he earned all of it, his consistent effort every night, he deserves his next big contract.ย  Any team would be glad to have him.

  5. Showed more emotion leaving than our captain.

Great guy and left a mark on this city in his short stint here.

  6. The playoff comment is interesting since he was on the opposing team during that playoff run.

  7. go get your bag king!

will never forget how hard heโ€™s played for us and how he cellied each time like it was his first nhl goal

  8. Really sucks we didnโ€™t have him when we are a good team competing in the playoffs. So happy heโ€™s going to get his bag, he earned it! Love that he mentioned the picks we got in return for him will help the team

  9. ..crowd chanting…”Kiefer Sherwood”

Good luck and thank you for your passion and skill.

  10. Expect a bump from this trade, just as we did after the Quinn Hughes trade. Mark my words, Canucks will only lose 3-1 tonight to the Isles and lose only 3-2 in a shootout vs Washington.

Quick, somebody pass me a paper bag.

  11. He gave more effort at 1.5 million dollars per season than some of the much higher paid guys on this team.

  12. Iโ€™ve been a Canucks fan for almost 40 years and Sherwood has been one of my favourite players to watch. Heโ€™s electric on the ice, his energy is palpable, you can really feel how much he loves the game. Not to mention his talent, size, and overall good attitude/vibes.

I hope he finds success with SJS. Lowkey, Iโ€™m really excited to watch him integrate into his new team. I think his style will be great with SJS, it will be awesome to see how he vibes on ice with Celebrini, too.

Thanks for being you, Kief! Iโ€™ll be a fan for life.

  13. objectively a palpable difference between sherwood vs. quinns elatedness / borderline disrespected when leaving. i’ll miss sherwood for sure

  14. Class act.

Now go get those Sharks a cup so you can come back home here with Celebrini.

  15. Holy cow, watching this guy’s humility and respect for the Canucks and then reading your reactions makes me empathize with you, and yet, even more pleased to have him on the Sharks. The people are going to love him.

    Good luck with your rebuild.

    Peace.

  16. He said one thing that made my eyebrow raiseโ€ฆI will never close any doors. ย Or something along those lines. ย I am sure it was meant for something else, and there isnโ€™t an ideal fit moving forward, but imagine a world where we get the pics and the player come July 1st. ย I know, no window, but we still need vets and culture. ย He adds great culture. ย I am dreaming but that was an interesting thing to say. ย

You will be missed Sherwood, I loved watching you play:) ย

  17. โ€œItโ€™s different hereโ€ fuck man this is breaking my heart ๐Ÿฅฒ

  18. Glad he’s going to an exciting team. Hope they get the chance to stomp Minnesota or Edmonton in the playoffs.
