  1. Dach and Beck don't have the potential ceiling Lafreniere has. Look at the Rangers draft development, how many of their drafts have become superstar in the past 15 years? Lafrenieres underlying numbers are strong, he is durable, he lays the body, he has potential to become a reliable 70p player.

  2. 4th line needs to improve, and Gally needs a rest
Bolduc might need to sit and watch and come back stronger
so as healthy bodies come back, they need to earn their time, and Gally said competition is good for the team

im torn about the defense , i really like everyone on it, but it's missing something… i know Xhekaj is the muscle, Carrier has surprisingly gotten involved in scoring, but the D missing some nastiness, maybe Guhle when he feels 100% confident in his health, then maybe he's back to crushing people

Lafreniere is probably going to cost too much in trade assets…yeah Jesse ,right on with Drouin vibes, can just see a trade where we give away a premier up and coming D man for talented forward that's heading to middling career… if it's Beck+Dach+2nd… sure why not, we need to consolidate contracts… but can't see #1 pick going for that package… but in Hughes I trust, Beaconsfield!

  3. YAAAAY!!! I often go spy on channels for other teams, and also watch several other Habs channels. I notice that Habs channels get so many more likes faster. I think it is a testament to the Montreal fans! GO HABS DIGEST GO! PS…I think Laine could be a good add to PP1 because he actually shoots the puck!!! I think Laine and Demidov could be good on PP2 together too. PPS…Neat-o Josh!! I am a US Air Force vet and served with Canadians Forces my whole (long) career!!

  4. Lafreniere … is more or less Dach without injuries. He has no direct strength.

    Where do you put him?

We have upcoming players and what we need are thougher grinder players.

  5. i dont think habs can trade with the Rangers due to gortons bad relationship with drury….but IF the habs trade for anyone from the rags it should be will cuylle

  6. The Habs have a deep roster of talent , no need to chase on skill guys , and a couple of dogs for the 4th line might be in order . I sadly have noticed that Gallager has not been too effective. Bolduc , Blais and Velano are probably the odd men out . Any news on Newhook? A little to soon to be considered a contender but definitely capable of a good playoff run if they can keep it tight in their competitive division. Kent Hughs needs to keep playing the long game. A hurried rebuild can lead to mistakes .

  7. Jesse I love your input but PLEASE take a look at working your audio. Respectfully get someone to set you up with some software (compressor, de-essor, EQ). It'll do wonders! Congrats for the success of the show! You guys (and Habs Digest) are my favorite Habs intake. Cheers! Go Habs Go! I Loooooove this team – More exciting than the '93 team during that regular season. If Fowler can do just a little Patrick Roy of himself, it'll be history repeating,
